Current favourites

I've been having a nice restful weekend just lounging around. Yesterday at around 5pm I felt very snoozy so I drifted off thinking I'd have a quick nap and I woke up at 10.20pm :O ! Time can certainly fly...then I could only get back to sleep at around 3am and I woke up at 7.45am. CRAZY! Maybe my sleep timetable's finally sorted itself out. It's been messed up since christmas hols when I went to sleep at 1 or 2 am every day and I did the same throughout January which is not at all good for concentrating in school. I feel fine though so maybe the "nap" was for the best!
I wanted to do a make-up related post so here's my CURRENT FAVOURITES! (it's basically like an updated what's in my make-up bag post really :/ )

The make-up purse is from TK MAXX and I think it's Betsey Johnson. It came with a bag and I really like it! Ok so i'll go into more detail on each thing :)

Skin Wisdom Visibly Radiant Tinted Moisturiser

I got this from TESCO last summer because I wanted a tinted moisturiser. I was really tempted to buy the nivea one but I caught sight of this on the side. It's really nice and cooling, and gives a fresh glow to the skin. Not amazing staying power or coverage but I put a powder over it so I don't mind so much. It was also the least expensive there at around £3 or £4 (I can't remember :S = fail)

MAX FACTOR Facefinity Compact Foundation

I really, really like this. I'm not sure why, it doesn't give amazing coverage or staying power but it's fantastic for a quick fix. It matches my skintone perfectly and I just really like it! Would i repurchase? Probably not. i want a powder that will last all day; any recommendations? BTW mine's in the colour 03 Natural.

MAC Studio Finish Concealer

Words cannot describe how much I love this concealer. I bought this last march. I'VE HAD IT FOR A YEAR. Granted I don't use it everyday but still! It's made a long way and there's still loads left. It was only £11 so well worth the money I think. It covers everything up and it's just fab. At first I found it a bit too thick to apply but when I took it to india it melted a bit and now it's stayed creamy and lovely. Definately my favourite concealer and I'd definately repurchase. (My shade is NW 30)

MAX FACTOR false lash effect & L'OREAL telescopic mascaras

I have reviews on both these mascaras. Click here for MAX FACTOR and unfortunately I haven't posted the L'oreal one here  but if you guys want one then ask. I love both of these mascaras and they work extremely well together!

Barry M Eye Kohl pencil

I know I know it looks disgustingly scruffy. I took the good angle, the rest of the pencil is scratched and god knows what. I love this eye-pencil hence the obviously worn-out state. I always come back to it and it's just really soft, dark and long lasting. Not completely smudge-proof but I don't mind, I quite like the smudgyness!

MAYBELLINE Mineral Power Natural Bronzing Veil

I only got this yesterday but I'm already in love. It came with a brush but I prefer using an angled brush, and using the kabuki for blush. It's a gorgeous colour on my skin and it has just the right amount of shimmer. I have to be quite careful to not put too much and look dirty but it gives a beautiful depth to the face and I love love love this! Definately recommend it. Mine's in the colour SUNSET BRONZE.

Natural Collection blush in ROSEY GLOW.

I really do love this blush. Unfortunately it's not very long lasting but the colour is perfect. It's a dusky pink and looks fab on tanned skin so I love it. I use the Maybelline kabuki for this and it sweeps a good amount on. LOVE IT.


Bourjois Smokey Eyes Trio in 03 MORDORE CHIC

 I don't use this as much as I used to because I don't have that much time in the morning anymore but it used to be my staple. I literally sweeped this on, eyeliner, mascara, blusher and run. The colours are gorgeous and I use the applicator for it because that's what it works best with since it's baked. The colours are great for everyday and they even provide instructions on how to get a smokey eye with it on the back!
