001: la semaine

01: The sun is ablaze. On friday it was sports day and the most hilarious thing happened. I was wearing pumps (because I'm an idiot) and because I have skin that tans easily (WHY DO I NEED TO TAN, I'M ALREADY TANNED!) my feet TANNED. And guess what didnt...my toes. Yes my toes were extremely light compared to the rest of my foot. Embarassment to a new level. I showed my friend and she proceeded to call everyone in to show my foot: how great are girls schools hmmm? Anyways it's getting a bit too hot. I nearly died in the heat and I felt like lying on the ground in pitch black.

02: SLEEPOVER. My friends finally came round and saw my house and then we proceeded to watch craploads of films and eat craploads of junk. We started off the night with Mean Girls. How amazing is that film? Lindsay Lohan was amazing in it. Then just to carry on the Rachel McAdams theme we watched The Time Travellers Wife. Such a beautiful and strange film. I thought it was really creative but also confusing, I wouldn't have understood it if my friend hadn't already watched it. Then to lighten our mood we watched....THE HANGOVER. We watch this at every sleepover; it's a ritual now. BEST. FILM. EVER. I always crack up at it, it's hilarious. Sadly we were tired from the heat and passed out after that but we did watch My Sister's Keeper in the morning. Incredibly sad and touching, I've read the book and the film was lovely too. Any of you guys watched these movies? Tell me what you thought of them.

03: I went to Primark today. A big one. I have a feeling I was completely overwhelmed since I didn't buy much but I did buy loads of PJ's. And a gorgeous lace dress which will be featured in a post in the near futureeee!

04: CONTEST UPDATE. I'm adding two new prizes! A necklace from the previous post, annnnnd a LOVEFILM giftcard that my Dad recieved! He gave it to me saying I can give it to a friend, and who better to give to than you guys? You will get 2 months of free rental of DVD's from Lovefilm. If you end up falling in love with them like us since they're lovely then you can just carry on and pay monthly. Orrrr you can cancel if you didn't like it (which I doubt.). By the way you will have to be 18 or over to use this card so if you are under 18 then please get a parent to sign up with the card. It expires at midnigh on 20.11.2010 so make sure you squeeze your two months before then!

05: Feeling the pressures of my religion and culture. My parents don't want me to show leg so I have to wear leggings and I feel like a complete numpty wearing them in this weather. Sigh...Also they're being crazy and saying they don't want me living on campus at uni and if I go far, they'll move near. Ugh I really hate my culture SO MUCH. Why can't they give me freedom? And the reason? Because I'm a GIRL. And their friends will gossip and shit about it, but all the boys in the gang are allowed to live on campus. The girls at uni in my culture group who go to uni, go from home. How upsetting is that?! I don't know..it's really bringing me down!

Sorry about the waffling darlings. And hello to all new followers :) There's three things that I'm going to cheekily request.

Follow my twitter, enter my contest and drop a question on my formspring!
