004: la semaine

01: This is pretty long awaited. My holiday was fabulous and I think the photos speak for themselves! Unfortunately in Rome I only got pictures in the Vatican + by St Peter's because I then dropped my camera on the cobblestone streets and it's screen has broken. It still works but I'd be taking pictures blind. Not nice :(
It goes in the order Paris > Switzerland > Rome.

02: Ramadan has started and I've been fasting. All those plans for coursework and homework is crushed because I'm too exhausted to do anything. Who knew how much food played in your life? I went into town yesterday and I spent an hour there, got bored and had to leave. I've been watching films, snoozing, napping, reading Georgia Nicholson and then eating loads when I can break my fast.

03: I also have a new sleep routine. I stay up until 2.45am, eat copious amounts, pray then sleep. I wake up at around 12pm or 2pm and then I wait it out until I can break my fast. You would think that's a lot of time I could do work in but no- somehow I've managed to avoid that. I HAVE to start tomorrow.

04: I have a buying urge. I want a few grand and spend it on makeup, clothes, bags, jewellery, shoes, furniture, A MACBOOK and just endless amounts of things.

WISHLIST: feat. Dorothy Perkins

Haven't done this in a while! (Please ignore the fact I'm still putting off the contest! I'm still counting entries and tracking tweets, etc! Forgive meeee)

Black pussy bow dress, £35. Cream/Tan wedge peep-toe boots, £45. Mauve waterfall cardigan, £26. Charcoal/nude stripe jumper, £28. Mocha Twill Mac, £50. Black and White drape dress, £30. Camel military ponti tunic, £26. Grey lace bow headband, £6. Burgundy side bow Alice, £4. Cream scallop vest, £35. Mink lace burnout cardigan, £25.

This is clearly an autumn wishlist. I love autumn/fall (whatever you call it!). Mainly because I love covering up (I told you all my issues involving my parents + religion and how I can't show legs, shoulders etc) and so the autumn/winter seasons are perfect for me. I love layering things together and I love thick cardigans. I'm ecstatic and excited to go autumn shopping! Dorothy Perkins has been a fave of mine for a while, it started from their website. I never found anything wow in their stores but online they have a huge range of pieces.
Recently I've been getting into this "smart-clothes" phase. I'm really loving the clean cut lines of tailored clothes and there are some amazing blouses out there for women. The first dress is so simple yet oh so elegant and feminine. It's also a fabulous staple.
If you've been drooling over Jeffrey Cambell wedges like the rest of the world head on over to DP because they've just bought in an array of eye-popping wedges. I picked the tan coloured ones because they looked like ice-skating shoes and so wintery. They'd look gorgeous with a flowy skirt and blouse or even with jeans and a knit.
The next two are simply cosy buys. Click on the links and hover over them to see how cosy they look, I am definately going to purchase both. They're such simple staples that can go with everything I think everyone needs one. An neutral waterfall cardi and a striped knit = must-haves for autumn!
Ahhh trench coat. Why haven't I purchased you sooner? This makes any woman look amazing! It adds curves you never even knew you had and is so classic and understated you're sure to stand out of the crowd.

The bottom row is what really makes me drool. The harsh monotone contrast of the black and white dress screams look-at-me yet looks oh-so darling since it's made with such a gorgeous drapey fabric and so you look modern yet feminine. The military dress looks more comfy than absolute genius. I've seen so many of the military jackets but a dress like this is a first, it's so classic and understated yet the detail adds so much depth and wabam!
You all should know I'm a headband freak. So that one's self explanatory. Not to mention how inexpensive they are- definately picking up a few of those!
The next two I just fell in love with. They're sparkly, lacey and flowy. My love. Basically.

Tell me if you like any of them or something else at DP? They have a fur gilet which looks pretty cool.

A few things to sell...

I have so many things that are really cool but I just don't wear! So why should I let it sit in my wardrobe or give it to my sister (she's tiny so she looks ridiculous in them) when I could let someone who will actually wear it have it.

ONLY TO UK (sorry :( However if there's something you REALLY want and are willing to pay the extra shipping then okay)
Postage + packaging = £2. SHIPPING NOT INCLUDED IN PRICES!
Sizes are UK sizes!

Combines the two greatest spring/summer trends: Nautical and florals! Gorgeous black and white horizontal stripes with billowy floral sleeves. Long and casual, looks amazing with skinny jeans. Label says size 16 but I'm a size 12/14 and it fit me quite well so if you're worried feel free to send me your measurements and I'll see how it fits on the top. Originally from PRIMARK, no scuffs or rips: perfect condition.

Selling for £4 (was in store for £8)

Stunning Republic dress in a light chiffon (fully lined). Size 12 with elastic bust for a better fit. Beautiful dress for both winter and summer! Wear on it's own or layer up with blazers/cardigans and tights. Only worn twice, perfect condition.

Selling for £18 (was in store for £30)

Purchased from Matalan years ago. Lovely thick knit, pattern looks amazing in real life. Unfortunately there's a black mark but it's easily covered with brooches or scarves. Size 12, vintage inspired.

Selling for £3 (bought for £10)

Really really pretty cotton blouse from Primark! Pretty pattern and colour, looks amazing belted up! Size 14 but looks oversized. Really lightweight material and really comfy. Looks adorable with it's puffy sleeves.

Selling for £5 (bought for £10)

Vintage Accessorize. Really stunning and unusual beads, completely vintage looking and a real statement piece. I get a lot of compliments on this one!
Selling for £5 (worth £15)

Vintage chain. Found this in an antiques store ages ago and it pains me to put it up here. It's so stunning in real life but I just haven't been giving it the love it deserves. It's to be worn as a belt but I wore it as a necklace and it looks rocking that way too. A definite statement piece and very eye-catching.

Selling for £8 (worth a lot more since it's vintage)

I will be negotiable with prices so just give an offer and I'll see how it goes! I'll sell everything on this page for a lot of £40 if anyone wants to buy everything! (Saving of £3!) If it doesn't sell here I'll put it up on ebay for bidding!
