The Wedding

I was totally smitten and really enjoyed the wedding. It was lovely, beautiful, innocent and fresh. Also I thoroughly enjoyed having time to love Prince Harry all over again. He is adorable. Did you guys enjoy the wedding?

Also did you also laugh at these hats?

And also sigh at David Beckham?

Sorry for this random post but I just really enjoyed the Royal Wedding. Afterwards I went to my friends house for a party and it was so fun! We just played ping pong, jumped on the trampoline and played Just Dance 2 for hours with her brother. It was a lovely lovely day!

Nargles

Cardigan: Primark
Dress: ASOS
Belt: Primark
Headband: Primark
Ring: H&M
Necklace: Accessorize

I've worn this dress twice in outfit posts now, one ages ago when I had awful camera quality and one with a jumper on top recently. I bought it a few years ago and I love it. It's such a pretty, summery dress but also looks lovely in winter due to the gorgeous dark blue colour. It's also a very modest length and a really good fit. The cardigan is a bit of a staple at the moment, it's gotten a bit chillier so I've thrown this on over everything. I love the way it hangs! I also added a skinny belt for good measure. I don't know it seems to just finish a look.

In other news the bombshell has dropped: 4 weeks till exams. In fact, a bit less for my mechanics and C2 exam. :S I'm getting a teeeeensy weensy bit worried. And yet here I am...blogging. Don't fret, after this I'm going to do a chemistry paper. I've found past papers are the secret to success, so take that advice seriously because I swear to you it makes all the difference!

Tomorrow we're taking yeargroup + form pictures for the yearbook and I don't know what to wear! I wish I wore this outfit tomorrow. I don't know if I should wear my maxi skirt, I'm still unsure as to how it looks... I'm such a scaredy-cat when it comes to clothes, I hate being the first to wear something. SIGH I'm sure I'll find something, don't you guys worry!

Thanks for all your feedback to the wishlist post by the way! I'm glad you all agreed with my choices and a lot of you seemed to have fallen for the dusky pink dress as well haha! I don't blame you, it's stunning. Also thanks for following and reading my blog! I noticed I hit 20k views and I got 5 more followers in the last few days! I'm so happy, it's weird that anyone would find my rambling interesting so thank you!

Ok enough soppy-ness, tell me what you think of the outfit ;)

p.s. IT'S MY BIRTHDAY IN EXACTLY A MONTH :o

Wishlist: feat H&M

I was recently browsing through the snazzy new H&M website which I think looks VERY fetching when I realised I'm loving a lot of things. I think H&M is just brilliant at the Spring/Summer stuff because that's when I have huge H&M cravings. I've been wanting to buy some maxi skirts/dresses because I hate my legs and it's kind of ridiculous wearing tights in this weather. I'm kind of nervous to wear it out but I WILL. Anyway H&M is making me seriously want their maxi dresses and just their items in general!

L-R
Pink maxi, £29.99: I saw this is in store and immediately loved it. It's a very heavy, high-quality jersey and it feels so comfy. I imagine wearing this with a really light cardi, gladiators/wedges and a nice bag.

Ivory leaf-design tunic/dress, £24.99: This is really pretty. I love the barely-there leaf design. It looks like one of those pieces you could wear whenever and however, a staple really!

Brown wedges, £29.99: What can I say? You can't have enough wedges! And these scream summer. I JUST saw some other shoes on the website that I've immediately put on my wishlist, and they're these moccasins. How cute do they look?!

Rust patterned maxi, £29.99: LOVE THIS. How easy would this be to wear? Just throw that on, some shoes and some accessories. I'd feel strange without all the layering but I'd welcome the feeling. I'm definitely buying this one! I'm just scared it'll be OTT for school :S

Dusky pink maxi, £34.99: I want to buy this for my Leavers Ball. It looks sophisticated, pretty, girly and just lovely! I love the colour and the pleats.

That's all for now. Let me know if you like any of them and if there's other items on the H&M website you're loving! Hope everyone had a lovely day :)

028: la semaine

#1: Happy Easter one and all! I hope you celebrated it however you do and if you don't celebrate it like me then I hope you had a nice sunday! My local cinema was open this weekend and I watched Rio with my brother and sister. I really liked it, the brazilian music seriously made me want to get up and dance, AND I love Jesse Eisenberg and his voice so overall it was a lovely film.

#2: As you can see my pictures depict that I've finally acquired a MacBook. And a Pro one at that, I can't believe it! :o I'm so grateful and happy with it, it's so sleek and...just GOOD! It's so sturdy as well, idk I'm totally smitten. This means I may make some quick videos with the webcam so...YAY.

#3: Also on Friday we went to the beach and it was PACKED. See below:
I wasn't lying. It was ridiculous, AND HOT. Aaaah summer! I also bought a maxi skirt so I may do a series on how to style them :)
Ok that's all for today! Have a nice last-day-of-holiday tomorrow!

Bjartskular

Dress/tunic: New Look
Cardi: Primark
Belt: Primark
Necklace: Topshop
Rings: Both Topshop

I love this dress. I got it a year or more ago in the sale and snapped it up so quickly! It was around the time of when florals were making a HUGE statement and I was always tempted to buy affordable floral dresses but I found their floral patterns very off putting and cheap looking. I love the floral print on this, it's so pretty. The belt was a recent purchase that I love too, and I also refound my love for this cardigan. It's the perfect cardi to wear in the spring when there's still a slight chill and breeze.

I woke up a bit late today so my plan of going to the library in the morning failed, and I also had to wait for my dad to give me money for the bus. Instead I just went to the gym (I did 30 mins on the cross trainer, HOW I did it I have no idea!), then came home and lounged round a bit, read Brisingr, went to the seaside with friends and then watched Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows at home. Now I'm going to watch glee!
Hopefully tomorrow will be a little bit more productive :) I'm going to wake up earlier and go straight to the library, then the gym. Hopefully the rest of the week will follow suit.

Take care guys :)
oh and p.s. I did get my eyebrows done! ALSO if I have ANY spare time I will film a ring collection video :D

Look at me now!

Top: Primark
Jacket: New Look
Leggings: Primark
Necklace: Originally headband from New Look, DIYed into necklace
Ring: Gift, Topshop

YAY an outfit! However this may be one of the very few this blog will have until after my exams because I had a bit of a panic attack yesterday about how much I need to revise. I've spent this week relaxing and getting better but next week will be intense revision at the library and exercising at the gym. I really need to up my game, I'm so damn lazy!
This outfit was one I just threw on together. I like how the light denim works with the rust colour I think they compliment each other nicely! I really wanted a thick gold chain necklace but when I found this headband in the dark corners of my wardrobe I got some velvet ribbon and just made it into a necklace. What do you think of it? And what do you think of the outfit? Yay or nay?
The title is dedicated to Karmin who I've been subscribed to for a while on youtube. They're a duo band and they're fantastic but recently they did a cover of Look At Me Now by Chris Brown and absolutely KILLED IT. IT'S AMAZING. You would not think this woman would be able to rap that fast. I'm so proud of them, they've reached a million views!

I'm going to London today for a BBQ party. Aaaah Summer really is here! If you haven't already done so, remember to enter my giveaway!! :)

5 Things

{Disney Castle Necklace}

I'm ill. Of all the times to be ill, it had to be in the Easter Holidays didn't it? It's the flu but that's subsided down to just being a cold now. Not to mention I'm all stressed about Uni. I regret not applying to Kent because it would just be cheaper to stay at home and go to uni. Do any of you have any Uni advice? I'm now pinning all hope on Adjustment but if not I've decided to move to India. It's about time...I'll go through the process of Insurance + Firm but if I get nothing through Adjustment I'm going to decline my place, take a year out and go to Uni in India. THERE. DECISION MADE. Anyway I've just been resting in bed. I feel frustrated because I want to go to the gym and lose weight etc but I can't when I'm ill. Also I have no motivation to revise. SIGH.

"LAND HO!" "...What did you call me?!"

Top: Gift
Cardigan: H&M
Skirt: Matalan
Tights: Primark
Necklace: Giftgirls
Ring: Gift

OH GOD another week without posts! I'm sorry but I literally had no time this week! I was running around helping the Yearbook committee so I had to do my page, make other pages and it was a hectic week. I also watched my School's production of Macbeth and it was amazing! I was so proud of my friends, they did an incredible job. I was floored by their acting talents. I had a nice relaxing day yesterday, after school I went to have ice cream with a few friends and then had Nando's for dinner which was delicious. Then we went over to St Edmunds to watch the play (St Ed's is where Orlando Bloom went....oooo ;] haha) and then I went home! Such a lovely day.

My outfit is pretty boring. I've been loving light cardigans, mostly due to the fabulous weather. The sun has been shining non stop for two weeks now! So so lovely. I'm going to Oxford on monday so fingers crossed it's still lovely then. I'm still wearing tights because I hate my legs and yeah...I usually get weird looks in July when I'm still wearing tights haha! I think it's time to buy some midi skirts/maxi dresses for this weather.

I'm going to London this weekend for a sleepover so I'm seriously relaxing. I would say you'll get some more posts this holiday but I have SO much revision and catch-up to do it's ridiculous! We'll see though :)
