033: la semaine

001: Quick picccie. Classy bird I know. Thanks for the bday wishes, finally 18!! I went out and it was AMAZING! I'm going to miss my school so much. I've been here for 7 years, I've grown so attached to the old, crumbling building. So many wonderful memories and people. Ohh getting teary. Oh well we still have exams, and then leavers assembly + leavers ball coming up! I'm probably making my leavers ball gown, I will keep you all updated!

002: Revision will begin...NOW. I won't be posting for the next 3 weeks and then I'll be back! I will post a giveaway update because I'm changing the end date and adding more prizes so look out for that! Hope you guys understand!

{Array of Summer polishes}

Hope you've all been well! I had my last ever lesson today and I felt very strange. I'm going to miss my school so much. Tomorrow is my birthday, and my last day of school. We get a lovely breakfast and then we're having a bit of a rave in the common room and we're also dressing up as Where's Wally! Then I'm watching Hangover II and then going out with the whole yeargroup, clubbing and what-not haha. I'm excited/sad/nervous...idk. It's such a weird feeling. My sister got me a pretty maxi dress for my bday so I can't wait to show you guys that.

What's In My Summer Make-up Bag?

I made a video today as I didn't go to school. I only had one lesson and I was really tired and drawn so I had a lie in, recorded a video, went to the gym and now I'm going to revise for my exam on Thursday. It's quite a long video, I talk WAY too much. SIGH...

Also I went to pick up my brother from school today and as its down the road of my old house I had very weird feelings when I went there. I remembered walking to school on my own every day, always late because I assumed since I lived a minute away I'd always make it in time. Our old house had been let out to rent but we're selling it now and the other people have moved so we have the house at the moment. I'm going to go there on the weekend to revise there, so I better prepare for the nostalgia. SIGH...anyway! Here's the video :)

I took this just as I was leaving to school as I had frees in the morning so I didn't have to rush around blundering in my half-asleep state. The top is one of my all time favourites, I fell in love with it as soon as I saw the Garden Collection range and I was certain it would be sold out everywhere. I still remember the triumph at finding one hidden between the racks of dresses and cardigans, it was a very satisfying feeling. This blazer is also a love. I'd bought it on a whim from Dorothy Perkins as it was reduced to £20 and while at first I didn't wear it very much I'm loving wearing it now. It's very structured and brilliant quality, and it goes with a lot of items.

This was also one of the few days I wore jeans. I hate wearing jeans as I hate my legs but I'm getting a bit more confident with my body now. The gym and a close eye on my eating habits have been helping greatly. If any of you are thinking of joining the gym or just want some advice on body/health etc please feel free to ask. I'd love to help :)

I've been "revising" but really I am awful at it. I'm bad at just knuckling down and working, I really need to get into the working zone! Also I will do a haul video soon as it's my birthday on Friday and I'll probs treat myself too. We'll see!

Not much to say! I've been busy with revision, and just spending time relaxing. I still haven't worn this skirt out, I don't know why! :/ I might wear it next Tuesday. Actually yes I  definitely will. I need to be braver with clothes.

I watched The King's Speech tonight and it was incredible. It deserved every praise and award it received, Colin Firth was immense. I've always loved his acting and I'm glad he finally got an Oscar. Same with Helena Bonham-Carter, I think she's wonderful! Also Geoffrey Rush deserves praise too, he was brilliant! If you still haven't watched it, I highly recommend it! Rent it and have a lovely night in. I hope you're all well!

Thought you'd enjoy these quick outfits. I have the modelled version of the first outfit but idk if i'll post it. I put my hair up and I look like a pinhead. SIGH. I had my first exam today, it went okay; I either did brilliantly or completely shit. :( OH WELL I can throw out all the M1 papers all around me. Aaaaah finally some space :)

I have three outfits in line, I don't know why I haven't uploaded them. The other two are a bit meh, so I think I may keep them as outtakes but idk yet. Anyway I picked up this dress yesterday in TK maxx and I really like it. It's light and summery and I love the zip running down the middle. I paired it with my trusty leggings and a denim jacket to keep me warm. I'm also showing off my rings that i've made, they're all I've been wearing recently on my fingers. I'm such a magpie, I love sparkles!

001: Printscreens

A new edition to my blog. I always think my blog is very unoriginal, just because I choose very safe ideas. I'm pretty crap at creating new and innovative ideas and I usually just put stuff on here that I like in the form of some tag/series that someone else has made. For example my la semaine's are a copy of Lily's Sunday Portraits. I get a lot of inspiration from her blog just because I like everything. Wishlists are just something everyone does, so I like to jump on that bandwagon too. I've decided to come up with my own ideas so this is one. I'll be printscreening cool things I go on all week and then posting it on the Wednesday, or any day really. I hope you enjoy this :)

I need these H&M shoes. UGH why do the size 6's have to be sold out? They're not in my local stores yet :(

030: la semaine

001: I hope you don't mind my little shameless plug, I'm selling these heels. I love them but I've never worn them, and I seriously can't walk in heels so I'm selling them since I think they deserve a nice home. So if you're interested, click the shoes or click here.

002: I've had a pretty boring week. Spent it doing work. I feel like i'm not revising but since we've finished the courses in class we are basically revising in class. I know when we get closer to exams I will knuckle down and become a hermit because that's how I revise. I can never revise in advance, I pretty much cram cram cram the week before.

003: I've been making rings! In my breaks I've been wrapping wire and using swarovski crystal hearts and beads to make rings. They look really cool and messy but classy at the same time. I love how sparkly the simple big heart one is. The only downside is that my fingers feel awful afterwards. They feel like I've been sandpapering them for hours. OUCH.

004: Ok I'm going to be good and do some revision now. We had a nice bbq but now i'm F U L L. :o Definitely need to work it off in the gym tomorrow! Talk to you guys laterrrr ;)

The White Shirt

It's a versatile piece. You can make it "rockerish" with studs, girly with bows, dress it up with chains, wear it plain, layer over it, cut off the sleeves, wear fine chains with it, belt it up, wear it as a dress, wear it as a beach cover-up....ETC. The list is endless! These are just two ways you could wear it :)

029: la semaine

001: whadduppp peeps. I hope you all had a lOvElY long weekend, I certainly did! Yesterday it was this big family party and my dad and his friends did this traditional arabian dance on stage, it was HILARIOUS. It was just lovely to catch up with my old friends as well, I had a really nice time.

002: NOW I really need to revise. I can't seem to get any motivation. I only have 18 days till my first exam. EEEEEEK. Give me your motivation tips! I've already cleared my table of anything distracting and also blocked most websites I go on during the day, only allowing myself to go on them for an hour at certain times.

003: Also I now have a new found obsession with Prince Harry. He is too adorable asjkhdkjsahd I want to meet him and give him a hUUUUUUUge hug. If anyone knows him please send him down my way, many thanks!

004: OH and ignore my stupid face above lOl I thought you may enjoy something to point and laugh at, aren't I a lovely soul?
