053: la semaine

001: My week started off great with a small surprise party for my friend, lots of music and lots of twister playing (I won three times BOOM). I’ve been feeling really shit though due to personal/home stuff and it’s been getting me down a lot. So much so that my skin is AWFUL at the moment. So many blemishes/spots which is getting me even more stressed and upset. I don’t know, I hate this feeling. I’m very good at making a persona and acting happy around people but I think it’s actually quite unhealthy for me as it’s really tiring having to go home and realise how upset, annoyed and sad you are. I don’t know…it’s all a bit weird at the moment.

002: On a lighter note I’m very close to 400 followers which is immense so thank you all so much! I’m planning a giveaway on this blog and also on the beauty blog so keep your eyes peeled for that!

003: I haven’t shown a snow picture like everyone else because I actually didn’t go out in the snow (that’s how down I am!). There’s so much though! I imagine it’ll be really icy and slippery tomorrow which is my version of hell. I have a chronic fear of ice and slipping so the next few weeks are going to be horrible πŸ™ Hope you’ve all had a good week <3

    I feel bad that you’ve been feeling sad lately, I don’t think the winter weather helps either. Lack of vitamin D just seems to emphasise all the small things that shouldn’t matter. Me and Joycey are always on the other end of the interwebs/my phone if you ever feel like letting it all out. We love yiz!

    Oh Shabna! I feel so horrible that you’re feeling down and I haven’t gotten round to writing that blooming letter. Spurn me! If you ever fancy a chat tweet me/text me whatever…I always find that remembering we have to have the bad days to appreciate the good ones helps πŸ™‚

    Hey, I agree with Philippa, the second pic is amazing haha. On the other stuff. Chin up kiddo, “things can only get better” (imagine it being sung haha). I know how difficult personal shiz can be (believe I know). Have you tried meditation, it’s helped me out a bit. Hope you start feeling better real soon =D x

  • Hope you feel better soon. It’s hard to be happy sometimes, but just find the little things that make you smile. And when walking in the snow/ice, Just take sturdy steps so your feet are flat on the ground. That sounds weird until you actually do it. It stops me slipping over and I’m a klutz! πŸ™‚ xx

  • Aww hope things improve for you soon. A bit of self-pampering usually helps me when I’m feeling down e.g. a relaxing bath with candles and soothing music, a good head massage and even stuff like giving myself a pedi or mani help. The meditation idea that someone mentioned is also good. xx
