This is what I wore in the end to the Motel event! I love this skirt, Victoria was the one who posted about it and it was only £12! It took a few weeks to arrive though as it's all the way from China but I really love it! My only complaint is that it gets wrinkled really easily which annoys me. I hate ironing too haha. I love the skirt though and I decided to pair it with my silver top. I rolled up the sleeves so that the black shows, not sure why really. I feel the top is a very awkward size, the main part is too short/fitted while the sleeves are massive and oversized. It's a nice top all the same!
I got a lot of looks in the tube though, I was quite overdressed but I don't think it's unusual in any way. The amount of extremely weirdly dressed people I see in London always shocks me! I saw a guy in hot pants and while I have nothing against that, I just hadn't seen that much leg on a guy so I had to have a moment to compose myself. I always have a good time in London, I think I would've loved to live there.
What do you think of asymmetric hems? Yay or Nay?
