A Neutral Palette

For the past few months I haven't touched eyeshadow. I put it on for a select few occasions in the evening but never during the day. Last year I wore it every day but I got to a stage where I thought it looked too much. I always go through stages and I think I've stumbled back into the eyeshadow zone. I've actually ordered the new Stila palette but I found this one in TK Maxx and so I think the Stila one will be going back.

At first glance it looks like the Too Faced Natural Eyes palette. I opened it up and again it looks exactly the same and I actually thought it was until I got home. For £3.99 I couldn't leave it there so I bought it. When I got home, I looked at the back and the brand was Almar Sales Company. I immediately thought this palette would be useless but it's actually really nice. The middle row is matte and is pretty useless, especially the middle, ashy brown colour however the rest of the shadows are very pigmented, smooth and easy to blend. For now I'm very happy with this palette and my favourite colours are definitely the third shadow on the first row, the first shadow on the last row and the last shadow on the last row. The shadows are literally the same as the Too Faced but just rearranged.

If you find this in your local TK Maxx I'd definitely buy it! The packaging is so ugly but you can't judge a book by it's cover! It also comes with the WORST "brushes" ever! They're like those cheap paint brushes! I know I've harped on about TK Maxx for the past few days but I can't get enough of that shop! I could spend hours in there.

This look is just the third shadow on the first row all over the lid. It's def. my favourite colour!
