If you follow me on twitter you'll know I was gutted a week or so ago because this bag was out of stock. I seem to just literally buy whatever bags Kate buys, but when she showed this bag in one of her videos I inhaled sharply. It's perfect. It reminds me of the Chanel Executive Tote which I think is beautiful but this is a much more affordable option at £49.99. Now that is probably the most I've spent on a bag but I'm trying not to think about it too much. I am well aware I have a clear bag problem, specifically a Zara bag problem.
I needed a bag for Uni that would fit all my books and also my MacBook. So far this has delivered and it really is so beautifully made. I was a bit peeved because Zara offer free shipping on orders over £50 and so I was 1p short. I am also not a genius like Philippa and didn't think of adding something onto the order and then just returning it. *face palm* Either way I never regret paying for Zara shipping because it's just so good. They dispatch it the next day, send you a tracking number and keep you so updated! I ordered this on Friday (they e-mailed me saying it's back in stock. Oh deary me...) and it arrived on Monday. Brilliant or what?
Anyway, if you're looking for a very practical bag for school/college/Uni/work then this is perfect! It's very timeless and I'm just in LOVE! I was sceptical at first as it is pretty huge and quite heavy too but it's so functional that I can't bear to fault it. Do any of you have this bag? Are you thinking of buying it?

ReplyDeletei just bought it today!!!! and its PERFECT!!!!...fits my macbook and soooo much other stuff! perfect for uni!! i cant believe its 50pounds!!!! i would EASILY have paid a couple hundred pounds for this bag! it looks a million dollars worth. fits with ANYTHING! and the fabric feels great. the mauve/purple inner lining is such a beaut! BEST BUY of 2012 thats for sure!!!

I'm soooo glad I fell upon your blog and found this dupe because I really dont have that much money to spend on a purse. I hope it's not too late to get this @ Zara. I was just wondering, are the handles on the Zara bag long enough for it to be worn on your shoulders?

I just saw it in Beautycrush's video and I soooo totally have to get this!!! It's awesome. I will take this to Uni (when I get my place finally) and it looks so handy for carrying around all my art stuff I always have with me.
