Breton

Dress: Topshop via eBay
Jumper: Topshop (old)
Headband: Crown and Glory
Necklace: Primark
Bag: Zara
Boots: Daisystreet

There's lots of things wrong with this dress. It's a touch too small for my apparently broad shoulders so it's a bit of a squeeze. I think it may be why there's so many on eBay, maybe a factory problem? For that reason I'm wearing it with a jumper (also because it's still cold out...nearly May anyone?). And it's veeeery short but I don't mind as it's perfect with leggings for the summer. It's great quality and was shamefully cheap so I had to get it. I saw it on Lily and literally bought it immediately afterwards. Bloggers are the worst enablers...

Speaking of enablers, I was enabled by Estée to buy this bag from Zara. Well, I was enabled by the whole blogging world really. For £19.99 this bag is literally a must buy. I'll probably be buying the black one too. It's good quality and there's something very unique about it's shape and colours. It doesn't slouch the way I want it to most of the time because the strap is too thin but I still love it. It's also a lot bigger than I imagined and Zara delivered it in a MONSTER box which weighed nothing. It prompted my dad to ask me if I ordered a large box of air! Nevertheless, it's my new favourite bag! In fact, it's started a sort of domino effect with bags and I'm obsessed again. I REALLY want this one...oh dear. Also how beautiful is my headband? I've been wanting it for a long time and I finally bought it. So beautiful!

p.s. I've been asked about my make-up and what highlighter I use! I use No7 Vital Enlightening Highlighter.
p.p.s I'll be 19 in exactly a month!! :o

Clouds

Top: ASOS
Skirt: H&M
Necklace: New Look

An unintentional outfit which I actually really love. I've had this top for a ridiculously long time now, around 3 or 4 years? It's massive, completely shapeless and baggy but I love it. The print reminds me of the sky and it's perfect for this dreary weather. I put this skirt on because I've only shown it on the blog once! As you can see it's kind of lost it's shape since then which is kind of sad. I have worn it quite a bit but haven't in a while recently. I think it's a bit OTT for day-to-day but it's amazing for night events! People always do a double-take and are like "wait, is that leather?!"

Sorry about the very dull, dark pictures! Blame the awful weather. I feel like I've been having a constant shower as the rain is hitting my face all the time! What happened to the sunshine UK? Where are you hiding?

056: la semaine

001: The above pic is from my friend's wedding two weeks ago. Probably the only decent picture of me from all of them! Still can't believe she is married, it's crazy. (The girl in the pic is not the bride btw!)

002: I've managed to post a lot over the last three weeks which I'm proud of and it probably won't decrease but I may just post outfits with barely any writing for the next three weeks, or not post at all! We'll see! I like to snap my outfits before I leave and then put them up on the blog so we'll see if I have time.

003: Back to uni tomorrow! It's been three weeks and I miss my friends a lot. It's so weird how I've only seen them since last september and already we're so close. I really do love them, they're a hilarious bunch. I was also thinking of starting doing some videos, not sure yet! I'm so awkward I think I'd die if someone found them. I'm going to ask people's opinions before starting. Only after uni finishes though as videos are so time consuming! We'll see! Hope you're all well <3

ps. this is my 300th post!

A Tartan Tale

Dress: New Look (click!)
Jacket: Select
Necklace: New Look
Boots: Daisystreet (click!)
Bag: eBay

If you look at the past 10 or so outfits you will see I'm wearing that bloody tartan scarf. I decided to give you a break...and wear a tartan dress. I've had this dress for a while but find it quite difficult to wear because I don't show my arms and since it's a high neck I feel like it looks a bit strange? What do you guys think? Nevertheless it was one of those "must-buy" moments and I really do like it. I think it's great with a jumper over it too.

I may be a bit quiet for a bit as I have exams and assignments. I'm pretty good at blogging though and I can do it very quickly nowadays so it's not that time consuming anymore. Still I can get a bit lazy with outfit posts because I have to do my make-up for them and I end up not bothering haha!

I'm going on a bit of a detox. I've signed up to Tone It Up's bikini challenge and I've been doing the workouts. My eating has gone out the window though, I need to stock up on yoghurts and fruits so I have better snacking options! I definitely recommend Tone It Up, they're on youtube and they're such positive, lovely girls! Also I've been pinning again on Pinterest so follow if you like, I'll follow back :-)

Daisy Nails

I got this idea from the uber cool Gem Fatale who I'm sure you ALL know of! She is one of the coolest bloggers and she is even nicer in person (I saw her very briefly at Motel, I tried not to fangirl). Recently she showed how to do these amazing Daisy nails and they are SO easy, I had to try them! Go here to see how she did them!

I decided to make mine more spring-esque and used a pastel blue as my background! The polishes I used are Barry M Blue Moon, Rimmel Sunshine and Models Own Snow White! You basically paint your base shade, dot some yellow dots and then dot white dots around them! Simples!

March Favourites 2012

No 7 Stay Perfect Lipstick in Bare | Benefit Coralista | No7 Vital Enlightening Highlighter Powder

John Frieda Full Repair Styling Spray* - this spray does a bit of everything. It detangles, refreshes and softens my hair before blowdrying. It also has heat protectant which is a bonus! I really recommend this, it makes drying so much faster for me!

No 7 Stay Perfect Lipstick in Bare - this is one of my favourite lipsticks, it's a matte brown colour. I wear it a lot in outfit pictures when I want a simple look. It's stronger than a nude but softer than a bright!

Benefit Coralista - I never got the hype over Coralista. When I finally got it in this powder pop trio I was slightly disappointed. It had more highlight than colour and I rarely used it. But this year I just fell in love with it. I loved the highlighting aspect and the soft colour it gives me. I usually skip highlighter with this because otherwise I stray a bit too close to "glitterball" for my liking but I'm glad I have this!

Daisy Eau So Fresh - I got this via Buyapowa for an amazing price of £35. It's 75ml so that's a great price and I love the scent. It's fresh, non-offensive and simple; perfect for everyday! I think it's a very universal perfume as people rarely dislike it.

Real Techniques Blush Brush - I will definitely be buying more of the real techniques brushes because this brush is the best one I own. It's unbelievably soft, amazing value for money and perfect for blush or bronzer. It blends beautifully and is so easy to use. I definitely recommend this!

No 7 Vital Enlightening Highlighter Powder - When I swatched this I thought I'd be pretty "meh" as I never fall for powder highlighters but this was so beautiful blended on the skin. It's a very unique colour, most highlighters are either cool toned or warm toned but this one is somehow both. It has gold and peach reflects but it also has a slight pink shimmer running through. It blends SO seamlessly, you can apply it with your fingers if you wanted! I'm so impressed with this product, I swear it was more expensive but it says £6.50 on boots which is a great price! My only annoyance is how soft it is as mine broke a bit and now it's crumbling :(

Rock N' Rose Isis Triple Stud Ring* - I talked about this in my outfit post, it's such a unique ring. I didn't think I'd love it this much but I do! It's quite pricey for a small ring but it's definitely an eye-catching piece!

My Own Saviour

Dress: H&M (click!)
Sunglasses: Primark
Scarf: eBay (click!)
Necklace: Forever 21
Rings: Rock N' Rose*& Topshop
Shoes: New Look (these are similar)
Lipstick: Rimmel - Funtime Fuschia

This is what I wore to my friends Hen night plus a leather jacket. I love this dress but it makes my arms look like twice the size they are which isn't very helpful. Nevertheless it's perfect for spring and I can't wait to get the black version for autumn/winter. In fact, this could be worn in A/W with a fur gilet and a beanie and it'd look just as great. I find it a bit short in the back so leggings is perfect for it.

The Rock N' Rose ring is honestly my favourite ring, I got it at the Motel event. It adds something special to every outfit and I love it. My parents were very cautious at first, babbling on about health and safety. Then my dad said it's actually a pretty good defence item and I have to agree with that. I wouldn't recommend wearing it on a night out though - all that flailing around will have horrible consequences!

A week ago I was very close to dyeing my hair dark brown but I stopped myself! Should I do it? I was going to just dye the ends in a very subtle ombre style (def. not blonde, it's not for me!) but I don't think it'd look as nice with black and brown? However dying my whole hair will be annoying as I'd have to touch up roots! Oh the decisions...another part of me is just content with how my hair is now. I may get some layers put back in as it's just one length now. Let me know what you all think!
