Well I was planning to make this outfit a lot more summery but then the clouds appeared. I knew we all spoke to soon...Nevertheless I wanted to show you this dress anyway, just to show you how versatile it is. When I chose it online I thought they were parrots but they're actually blue chillies. Very random but definitely eye catching! I've gotten so many compliments on this dress so thank you Glamorous!

It's embarrassing that I've never worn a maxi skirt out but I really love this one. I've clearly been missing out, they're so comfortable and easy to wear! I really need to get some crop tops to wear with this as I think they look better than tucking something in. I was sent this one by Glamorous and I really like it! It's good quality and I like that the lining is only half-length.

In other news, can you tell I've tanned? For some reason, every part of me tans except my legs (most probably because I cover them up...) so I seriously need to get them darker. The weather is glorious in England if you haven't realised! I've spent time reading in the sun and just enjoying relaxing. I read "The Fault In Our Stars" by John Green yesterday and was so emotionally touched by it. It's beautifully written and so raw. I definitely recommend you read it, it's wonderful! And John Green is incredible so it's just a must read really.

Happy birthday to moi! I usually hate telling people it's my birthday because I feel like I'm begging for "happy-birthdays" but it's a fact...today is my birthday! Thank you so much for the tweets and instagram wishes, I felt so loved!

You all probably think I'm crazy in the above outfit, it's basically a A/W outfit! I actually wore this a few days ago when celebrating with friends and it was chillier. I love this top! I think everyone owns it now, especially as it's quite cheap for topshop. The skirt looks stupidly wrinkled because I crumpled it up before stuffing it into my bag which was so silly of me. It's not like I can iron it... *facepalm*

You can see my hair differently here too! This is what it looks like naturally and I'm actually really happy with it! It feels so good, perfect for summer. And I love how the layers give some volume and shape to my hair.

My day actually started out really crappy and I was pretty down but it turned around when I met up with my old bestie and her puppy and cheered up! The weather is glorious and life is good! I'm very thankful for everything. So much has changed in a year, in my personal life and also on this blog. Thank you so much for reading and commenting, it means so much! <3

New Hair

I can hear some of you sobbing! My hair is the one thing I'm complimented most on and sometimes I don't really know why. Recently I've noticed how scraggly and messy it looks and I really wanted a softer, more polished look. So I traipsed down to the hairdressers, ready to be told off for not visiting them for SO long and got it chopped. It's not majorly short but to me it's very short. However, I love it. It feels light, fresh and I keep swishing it around. At the moment it's very soft and silky, hopefully it'll get more texture tomorrow. I'm nervous to see how short it looks when it's curly/wavy! But also excited! :D

It's my summer holidays! I have one more mini assignment to hand in but no more Uni for like 3 months! WOO! My exams went surprisingly well, but I'll still fret over them since I'm a total worrier. Fingers crossed for me!

The trousers/jeans are my new favourite thing, Motel sent me them as a lovely thank you for going to their Spring/Summer collection event. I picked these as I love the print! I got a size medium if anyone is worrying. They're actually quite small at the waist for me and slightly big on the rest of the leg. Most likely my weird proportions though -.- Nevertheless I'm in love with them and they're perfect for S/S! I can imagine wearing them with a white tee or even a black jumper!

The necklace was a gift my Uni friends got me for my birthday (It's next sunday)! I was so surprised and happy, I absolutely love it. They know how much I love my skulls and I really do adore it. It's the perfect length and I can imagine wearing it with everything I own.

Zara Studded Slingback

Zara Studded Slingback - £49.99

Can we just talk about these for a second? My head is jumbled with programming definitions and my table is scattered with numerous biro pens that I have finished one by one with my furious writing. So to clear my head I stumbled onto the Zara website earlier (to help find shoes for my friend mind you) and of course I'd find something for me. I don't know how Zara does it, I honestly don't. What I love about Zara is that they're mysterious. They're not overly in your face with adverts, social networking and PRs (not that that's a bad thing!). You don't hear from them much which makes you want to step in the store. These shoes represent Zara perfectly, a classic shoe with a modern twist. Something that makes it stand out, something that makes it almost designer looking.

I know the heel is not everyone's piece of cake but I think I like it. I'm going to see if my local Zara has this on Saturday and if not I pray it's not sold out by then. I can imagine it being a serious favourite and I'm very close to making these part of my birthday present!

I know I'm probably going to make it even more impossible to find these online by posting them on my blog, but that's me. A kind soul sharing her little pearls with you all.

Stila In The Light Eye Shadow Palette

The story is, I bought this without really thinking. It's RRP: £25 but I got it for £20 as Asos had a 24% off code that day. However after I ordered it I decided to return it as I really don't need it. I couldn't help taking a few pictures though, so if any of you are interested - here are the colours. Personally I think it looks a lot nicer than the Naked Palette as the colours are more suited to me. Depends on you though! If I didn't already have an eye shadow palette that I'm happy with, I would've kept this in a heartbeat!

My one con is the packaging. It arrived pretty dinged up too so I can't imagine what a week in my make-up basket would do to it! Not the most practical packaging, especially for travel!

Guess what arrived yesterday? The t-shirt I was gushing about everywhere! I love it! I got a size large and I wish i got medium now. It's also really long but I still love it. I know I'm going to get a lot of sighs and "oh god"'s at Uni because not many agree with my love for Harry Potter. I don't know how I survive really.

Also I know these glasses don't suit me but I'm still trying to rock them. These photos also remind me of my need-hair-cut emergency which I've banged on about for yonks so I'll stop. Instead let's turn the attention to my new bag from Zara. I am completely besotted to this. The oversized-ness, the shape, the feel, EVERYTHING. It fits quite a bit and I love the leather-look material. I think it's so unique and I've never seen anything like it so I had to get it. It can also be used as a clutch so yay!

I also wanted to ask if you guys would be interested in cool t-shirts with Harry Potter lines? I may be doing some with a friend and I wanted to know if any of you would actually buy them! Let me know :)
