I’m pretty simple when it comes to make-up but recently I’ve been really enjoying cheek products. I bought the MAC MSF in Soft & Gentle quite a while ago but I just wasn’t using it enough. When I saw No 7 had come out with a new highlighting powder, the Shimmer Palette in Rose, I snapped it up so quick! They hadn’t released a powder highlighter in years and their last one had been amazing but also limited edition. I unfortunately smashed it and haven’t found anything as good – until now! This is a buttery soft powder full of shimmer to make you look glowy and radiant. It’s quite full on and shimmery so definitely not for the faint hearted! There’s also a more gold-tone one in Caramel.
The other product is the Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Powder. I’ve heard a lot of great things about this and I found one on Depop for a serious bargainous price, even though the shade is in the darkest. It looks amazing swept on lightly all over but also concentrated as a contour under the cheekbones. It’s also fab as a mirror as the compact is massive! This is definitely an investment for life – I can’t imagine ever hitting pan on this!
So those are my two cheek-favourites! I thought I’d do this instead of April faves this month…a few other faves are:
Favourite TV Show: Once Upon A Time – a sweet series about Fairy Tale characters being stuck in our world. There are 4 seasons out already and in this weekend alone I’ve watched a whole season. If you have exams or anything important to be getting on with – DO NOT START THIS. You will be hooked, it’s genuinely like magic (hah)!
Favourite Song: For some reason I’ve been into Trap Queen by Fetty Wap, it’s so catchy and fun! Also Cheerleader by Omi is a great summer song and finally I’ve been enjoying True Colours by Eva Cassidy, especially while stretching or doing yoga!
Favourite Meal: My standout meal this month was probably at Tinseltown on Oxford St, I had lamb chops and they were so delicious! Then had Banana and Chocolate waffles which were sinfully good! Ah I’m craving.
