Standard week! However tomorrow is going to be crazy busy. I have to go into town to buy a cake for my friends surprise thingy, drop my stuff at my friends, go to uni for a lecture, jump on a train to London for ZOMGBloggersbash, mingle with people I've only seen through a screen and try to keep my cool then rush back to Uni and surprise my friend and then stay up all night playing games and then go to Uni in the morning on Tuesday. Pretty usual.

However if it does snow tomorrow I definitely won't attempt the trip as we all know how "brilliantly" London handles the snow. I'd be mortified if I was stuck in London! Oh DEAR. I'm very excited though, even if I am a teeny tiny bit nervous! Are any of you going? If so please say hi! Apologies if I crack some weird jokes, I assure you it'll be from nerves!

New shoes make me happy. And for £12.99 these are such a bargain. I got 20% off with student discount so this was around a tenner for me. So comfy and looks great on too. I want to wear them tonight but I wore crappy shoes earlier and my feet hurt so I don't want to make them suffer any more.

What do you think of them?

p.s. bad me! bought more shoes! I've always wanted the allegras but I can't justify £75 on shoes. These are ridiculously alike and only £38! Go go go!

Thanks for all your sweet comments on my last post! Can't wait to see if you guys try it out :-) I've shown this dress before but I really hate the photos in that post! Anyway, this is how I'd wear it in this weather. It's one of my favourite dresses even if it is too large for me!

I'm going shopping tomorrow, there's a few bits and pieces I really want to pick up. I really want the leather pleated skirt from H&M, these pointy court heels from Zara, a diary, a new foundation, new mascara and some nail polishes. Hopefully I'll find everything!

Halo Plait feat. John Frieda

I've been contacted a few times now by companies asking me to place links in my posts. Usually I say no because it just doesn't feel right. Is that just me? However this time it was different. The lovely people at John Frieda made me aware of their youtube channel and the hair tutorial videos they have. I was asked to try one out and as soon as I saw the Halo Plait I knew I had to try it. I absolutely love plaits/braids and I used to wear them all the time. Nowadays I usually just leave my hair down but I decided to try this out with the help of their video. It is a bit fiddly but it's worth it. It's nothing like in the video, I made mine much messier and rougher! Embarassingly, my hair is TOO long (didn't know that was possible) so when wrapping it around it very nearly goes round back to where it started! I definitely need to chop off a few inches... Let me know if you try this out, I'd love to see it! Also check out their other videos, I really want to try out their California Waves too!

Recently I've fallen into a jewellery trap. It usually happens around sale season because all the necklaces go down to a few quid and I stock up for the year. I love unusual pieces so the first four are DEFINITELY a favourite. Especially the skeleton cuff! If only I could splurge on it. The One Luv goodies are a bit more affordable and they're so kooky! They look quite good quality too. They're an Australian brand fyi! Their shipping is quite high though I think so for now I can lust. I'm going to buy the 'S' ring soon as it's from Topshop and it's pretty accessible. But the last three are long-time lusts. I'm a huge fan of Mr Kate and her jewellery store is so unusual and different! The rose-gold cuff is on sale at the moment and I SO want it! The bow ring is HUGE and has a hefty price tag to go with it but it's so realistic looking and beautiful. And finally the infamous 'Love Loop' necklace which a lot of people love. Her attention to detail is incredible and everything is made with utmost care. Her youtube videos are hilarious too, she does some AMAZING DIYs.

Hope I haven't added a whole load of things to your wishlist now...I waste too much time pining over things! :(

001: Why can't it be acceptable to rock sunnies at this time of year? I've gotten into the sunglasses obsession. I think I'm maturing! I'm lusting after perfumes, designer sunglasses, Chanel etc etc. Right now I'm blasting out some Westlife (no shame!). I don't know what it is...maybe it's this project that's slowly killing me. IT'S NEVER ENDING. I can't wait for the immense relief I'll feel when it's done!

002: Guys. Yesterday I did the Tone It Up Sandcastle workout and my muscles are literally crying. My bum and thighs are so sore and I can barely get up or sit down without wincing. THIS BETTER BE WORTH IT!!! I could barely run after though. I think I have to run and then do all the painful workouts.

003: Not much to say really. This weekend I had a bagel for the first time, ate too many pink wafers and experienced the lights blowing off while home alone (it. was. terrifying). Standard weekend? I'm now pestering my parents to let me live out next year. Backwards, old-fashioned parents are so difficult! Fingers crossed I'll get a little bit of freedom next year?

How I lived without a leather jacket for so long is a mystery to me...it just works with EVERYTHING. The blouse is a fave too of course. The beading makes the top so special and I really love it. I think it'll look great with a bodycon skirt but I still haven't bought one! IDK I'm not that comfortable with my body so I'm not sure if I'll like wearing a bodycon skirt. I may try one on in a store to see how I feel though.

I've decided not to do anything major with my hair at the moment. I may get a trim and some layers for some volume though. I'm too scared to do anything drastic at the moment! I may get highlights in the summer but we'll see! I think with this outfit a ponytail would look better...well now I know.

I love that it's a bit sunnier now! Also it stays brighter for a bit longer, yay bring on spring! I have a feeling the temperature will drop at some random time in February and we'll be battered with blizzards though. You know England...the weather never makes sense!

p.s. my garden looks horrible because my trampoline was on that patch of dead grass. Lack of sunlight made it die so that's why there's a bald patch HAHA. Don't judge!

I wanted this top ever since I saw Vivianna wear it in one of her hauls but I though £23 was a bit of a stretch for it. Since then it has been reduced to £18 and I very nearly bought it but in the end I didn't. Of course when I swanned into New Look the other day it was sitting there for £8! Unfortunately it's a size 16 which is too big but I kind of like the oversized-ness. Especially with some skinny jeans. This is what I wore on Monday to uni. It was casual but not boring so I was happy!

As you can see I finally found a coat! I'd seen it online but I wanted to see it in real life and when I did, I loved it. I think it's the furry hood and the little pom poms. It's a really good length too. One of my pet peeves is seeing the hem of your dress or having your cardigan hang out because your coat doesn't cover it. This one is perfect though! It's currently £30!

I also FINALLY bought a black leather jacket. It's not a splurge, maybe someday I'll buy an All Saints one but for now I'm happy with this one. Again from Select it was reduced to £15 so I bought it. My cursor is hovering over the "Buy It Now" button on eBay for some spikes as I really want to stud this jacket but I'm holding off for now. I'm already strained with all this work yet I find myself lolling around doing nothing sometimes. ANYWAY the jacket:

Apart from lounging around, running, scrolling through Tumblr and writing notes I've been playing Temple Run on the iPhone. OBSESSED.

001: FIRST WEEK OF 2012 IS OVER. What a week...nah it wasn't major. Just bought lots of goodies, had an amazing ginger chicken udon at Wagamama on Friday and FINALLY found a coat. I bought a duffle coat and it's from Select of all places. I rarely go in there but I tried it on and it was cosy and cute so I bought it. I'll show it to you soon!

002: I've changed my commenting system to Disqus. I like to reply to comments and this makes it much easier! I hope you guys don't mind it and you carry on commenting ;-) I love all your comments! I've been on a huge commenting roll with blogs as well, I'm loving strolling through blogs ha!

003: UNI TOMORROW :( I have so much more work to do, dear lord. My posting will be haphazard again but I will try to post as much as I can. I have another recent purchases post and a few more outfit ideas which I'll try to do. I bought a sports bra today to motivate me into working out. I ran for half an hour on the treadmill the other day while watching mamma mia. I was using the Couch to 5k app of course! Can't wait to reach the end and be able to run 30 mins straight!

The top is actually my sisters but we're sharing it. It's kind of shapeless but I can tuck it in and make it work. We bought it from Republic! I'm in love with all my necklaces, I can't wait to wear them all. I wore the globe one yesterday and no one could keep their eyes off it! The pictures don't do them justice so I suggest you buy yourselves some. They're only £8 which I think is a great price! The topshop necklaces were absolute bargains. The sandglass one only came to £1.50 and the other one was £3.50 (so was the ring).

I'm in love with the Monki wallet, it's so simple and it was only €8! Mind you, shipping was €6 which was a bit of a slap in the face. Nonetheless I'm really loving it and I think I might have a What's In My Bag post coming along. Everyones making an updated one aren't they?

The last two are my bargains of 2011. I've already spoken about the YSL lippie, apparently it's still on sale in House Of Fraser in store (From £22 to £14!). I found the Yankee candle in TK Maxx and nearly caused a scene as I ran through the aisles trying to get to them. There were even a lot of christmas ones! I bought this one though, ready to embrace spring and I love it! And only £9.99?! CRAZY. They had medium ones and small ones too!

I didn't actually wear this out because of this RIDICULOUS storm we're suddenly having! The rain is unbelievable. I opened the door yesterday and literally had a shower right there. The weather is ridiculous. Anyway I bought this top/sweater thing the other day. I haven't been to republic in ages but I strongly recommend you visit because their sale is pretty good! The top was only £10. I really like this outfit because it's quite casual but still put together. I think I'll wear this on Monday to uni actually...

I'm trying to get more casual pieces for my wardrobe because I always feel overdressed to uni. I'm really not a tshirt and jeans kind of girl. In fact I only wear jeans when the top is quite long because I hate my legs. However I want more casual tops to wear with skirts since I feel a blouse and skirt is too much for uni. Is that just me? I had no problem with overdressing to 6th form but that may be because it was a girls school so we all overdressed to show off our clothes haha!

I'm now smacking myself for not starting my uni work earlier. THIS ALWAYS BLOODY HAPPENS. Oh well. Hopefully this will give me the motivation to knuckle down and get it all done. My assignment needs to show I've done around 60 hours of work/lab. SORRY WHAT? Wish me luck!!

First outfit of the year! I bought this top and was mildly disappointed to see that it's nowhere near as long as the picture implies (either that or the model is quite short). Even so, I still really like it and I'm actually considering buying a bodycon skirt to wear it with. The cardigan was a random gift from a friend, she got it as a gift but she didn't like it and I was more than happy to take it. It's very strange though since it's a cape...the sleeves look so strange when you're not wearing it. I think I'd wear it with a dress though, it makes me feel very Little-Red-Riding-Hood-y.

I'm wearing my YSL lipstick here, I LOVE it. I'll give a more detailed run down of what I'm wearing make-up-wise on my other blog so check it out, the post should be up soon. I've been wearing a lot more make-up recently, I don't know why. This always happens in the winter!

Who else watched the Adele live at the Royal Albert Hall show last night? I recorded it and now all I do is play it. She is so beautiful in every single way, I really want to see her live! I actually love all her songs, which rarely happens with an artist (except Coldplay). Hope you've all been well! How's your new year been? It still hasn't hit me that it's 2012. I think it will when I start uni again next week. :-(

001: Happy New Year everyone! Hope you had a lovely NYE! How amazing was the London fireworks? Tell me how yours were. I absolutely love fireworks and London really outdid themselves. I'm not going to ruin the moment by wondering just how much of us taxpayer's money was used on them but they really were beautiful.

002: Well it's week 3 of my holiday. Time to crack open the books and actually do some work :S uhhhhh I want to lay in bed forever! We were given this amazing cream cake yesterday and all I'm doing is thinking about it because it really is the most delicious cake EVER. Why is cake so good?

003: The weather is truly awful. It's pouring down with rain at the moment. I need to go into Canterbury town tomorrow to return some topshop shoes because she gave me one shoe in the wrong size. SIGH. They were in the sale too so I doubt they'll have them anymore :-( I've ordered a few goodies which I'll collect together to show in a recent purchases post (I know how much you guys like those posts...). I'll try do an outfit post tomorrow!

What a year

if you didn't already know, I'm a bit of a goon

I can't believe this year is almost over. Literally. A year ago my head was fuzzled with thoughts about exams, what to do about uni, what to do at uni and other stressful thoughts. My head is still fuzzled but I'm much happier. A change of scenery and friends was just what I needed. 2011 was also important for my blog, I've posted a lot more this year and blogging is now a part of my routine. Reading your feedback and comments honestly makes me so happy and I love interacting with other bloggers. I've made some lovely blogger friends and I'm just really happy at the moment.

I hope you've all had a fabulous year and if you haven't...2012 is right around the corner. Make a fresh start, do something different/daring and ignore the people who doubt you and your abilities. You can do whatever you set your mind to.

A little treat

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! My Christmas dinner actually went well! HALLELUJAH! It actually went really smoothly and a bit of Buble blasting out in the kitchen really helps. I got some lovely gifts from friends and a hilarious Glee perfume from my dad. I also finally got a Yankee Candle which I'm so excited about (will do a post on it on the other blog)!

NOW this should be on the other blog but I was too excited and I wanted to show everyone. I've wanted a YSL lipstick for far too long but the hefty price tag always put me off. When I swanned into House of Fraser yesterday I was snooping around at the YSL counter and I saw that the YSL rouge volupte lipsticks were on SALE. YES. THAT'S RIGHT. ON SALE. Now by that time I was starting to have palpitations and I knew that this was the day...I shall be a YSL lippie virgin no more. It was reduced from £22 to £14.74 (33% off). I was over the moon.

I picked shade number 4 which is called Sweet Honey. It's the perfect nude for me and I am completely and utterly in love with an inanimate object. The packaging is divine, the formula is incredible and now I finally understand why people splurge on these. They are a pleasure.

That's enough gushing about make-up, I'm going to Winter Wonderland tomorrow! Tonight I shall do my nails with one of Charlene's lovely designs (I got the cupcake ones). This is my first time using false nails so wish me luck. Hopefully I won't lose patience and break them all off!

It's the sad, embarrassing truth that I don't have a LBD. I've been wanting a velvet, skater dress for a while and when I saw this in the New Look sale for £10 I quickly bought it! I do wish I went a size up but after tweeting about it, it kind of disappeared.

I find the proportions on this dress a bit odd. The waistline is strangely high for me but I don't know if that's me being weird. Nevertheless, I really like it and it's very easy to wear. I'll definitely be buying more black dresses in the sales. Speaking of sales...why have nearly all the sales started before boxing day? I know the High Street stores are finding it tough with business but seriously...you couldn't wait a week?

I saw my school friends on Tuesday and we had a sleepover. I got a bit emotional going into Canterbury. After travelling to school there for 7 years you don't realise how much you miss it. I really recommend visiting Canterbury, it's a gorgeous place! The German markets were beautiful and of course it was ridiculously busy with christmas shoppers! The sleepover was fun, we ate a ridiculous amount of junk and watched lots of movies (including Mean Girls which I was able to recite to them).

Hope you've all been having a good few days! I have to start planning for Christmas Day because I'm cooking the Christmas Dinner this year! HOW NERVE RACKING! If you have any tips, tricks, recipes ETC please pass them this way! My mum is a culinary goddess when it comes to Indian food but she doesn't know the first thing about a roast so it's down to me. I've been watching Jamie Oliver videos like a madwoman! Oh if only he could be my husband...

I am so in love with this jumper. I've wanted a winter/xmas jumper for so long but didn't want to pay £50ish for one from Topshop. I saw this in Primark for £12 and snapped it up. It's XL unfortunately so it's huge but I'm sure a hot wash will shrink it to an appropriate size.

I love the Christmas spirit! The Glee Christmas ep was amazing and put me in such a good mood! I keep listening to Do They Know It's Christmas by them and it's so good.

Christmas holidays are upon us! 3 weeks off! I have loads of work to do though so I'm going to try and do it all in the next week. Will it happen...? Probably not. If you see me scrabbling around, pulling my hair out and venting on twitter on the day before uni starts...you can assume I failed!

I am slightly obsessed with this dress. I picked it up on a whim in Primark when I went to buy a dress for a party. I saw it and my eyes literally popped when I saw the collar. It's beautiful and I love the contrast. It's quite long though so if you are on the shorter side I would try it on before buying. It's £15 which is quite a steal for a dress like this. I'd imagine it'd be near £50 in topshop? Am I right?

I can see this dress being a new blogger obsession, it's perfect! The colour, the collar, the necktie. PERFECT. It comes with a cheapo belt as well but I haven't worn that here.

Thanks for your feedback in my last post...I think I might get a full fringe. My hair grows RIDICULOUSLY fast anyway so it'll probably be there for a week and then I'll have my old side fringe ha! We'll see! If not I'll definitely be getting a trim and some layers because I haven't had my hair properly done in a year or two :S BAD SHABNA!

Oh dear. I knew I shouldn't have popped along to the topshop website. I am now DEFINITELY lusting over those studded-collar dresses and the peter pan collar dress too. Those boots look so chunky and chic and also painful but ashjahdjsad I want to try them on!

The first 3 tops are just basics I need I think. I want a loose, swingy t-shirt, I want a cute patterned jumper and I want a classic black shirt (this ones jazzed up though - extra pointz!). It's very dangerous because my student loan has come in and I could very easily blow it all on clothes. Unfortunately I'm too responsible. Le sigh....

I have recovered from my awful illness. I don't remember EVER being THAT ill in my whole life. It was surreal. So the day I left oxford my friend's eyes had been getting irritated and red. Of course I woke up on Friday with conjunctivitis. IT IS DISGUSTING. On top of that I have a flu-like-thing and swollen glands and uGH such a horrible week! I've literally been curled up in bed or lounging around in my sunglasses :-( I'm on antibiotics now so I hope it clears up asap.

Oxford was unbelievably beautiful! It was amazing seeing my friend and meeting her new friends. Everyone there is so polite and kind, I was blown away haha! The formal hall dinner was amazing and afterwards we went to the Grand Cafe and had mocktails while chatting for ages. It's such a swanky little cafe, super posh but surprisingly cosy and welcoming. Her campus is stunning and we had malaysian food for lunch the next day (seriously yum but omg the portion was HUGE. I couldn't even look at it after a while). I found One Direction far too enjoyable last night on X Factor! Am I well? If only their squeal-y fans were less annoying, I may like them more! Gaga was surprisingly good too, she seemed very humble and...normal when she spoke! I wasn't too sure about the weird headless mannequin she was wearing though :S Haven't been too into X factor this year which is a shame as it's a yearly ritual. I wish Danni and Cheryl were back, I loved seeing their hair and outfits :(

001: Alohaaaaa! Pretty good week but my god uni is flying by! I have a small maths test tomorrow but it's simple stuff so hopefully it'll be okay. Right now I'm doing some logbook shiz and will probably just go over the stuff. I keep getting confused by the time...it's pitch black outside but only 5.30pm?!

002: I may be going to Oxford on Friday and staying round my friends. She's at Oxford Uni so I'm so excited to visit the campus and see what it's like! Everyone sounds really friendly. IMAGINE IF I CATCH A GLIMPSE OF EMMA WATSON! I will faint on the spot! I will update you all thought don't fret. If I can, I'll pester for a picture so you can all get a Emma-Watson-Outfit-Of-The-Day (and mine thrown in too)

003: I am now mourning as I finished Inheritance. Its like Deathly Hallows all over again! On top of that Christopher Paolini made it a completely bittersweet ending and I was totally sad at the end. I had a feeling he'd do that though. Still it left me a bit hollow afterwards...It's hard when you spend years waiting for the next book of a series to come out and then suddenly the series ends! It's like having to let go of something :( Look at me over exaggerating about a book...you know me!

004: I'm nearly at #50 of la semaine which is crazy! :O Time literally flies past me, I swear I'm like 10 times slower than everyone else! Anyway, I've got some things up on ebay! I'm also selling these boots so if you want them keep an eye out on my ebay, they'll be up soon.

More outside pics :O It's so awkward doing them, I feel like my neighbours are peeking out of the window and watching me :( But I sucked it up and braved the cold for these. It's getting quite chilly out isn't it? And it gets dark by 4pm! NOT ACCEPTABLE! I went to Nando's on tuesday with my friends at around 3/4pm but I honestly thought it was 7/8pm. It was crazy.

Anyway this outfit is a pretty generic one. A top...tucked into a skirt...cardigan thrown on top. I did ~jazz things up with this lovely scarf that arrived yesterday! It's so interesting, half of it is this grey peace-sign print while the other half is a bright camouflage print. I'm in love with it, the quality is AMAZING. I'm not one to splurge on scarves but this is making me seriously rethink...

I'm also wearing the boots that I've been wearing nonstop. I really want to buy some topshop ankle boots but alas, I have no money....sigh. The musings of a poor student...
To cheer me up however the new book from the Eragon series (Inheritance) arrived today! I can't wait to get my nose stuck in this book. I absolutely love this series and I think Christopher Paolini is a wonderful writer. If you love books like Harry Potter, LOTR and other fantasy/adventure stories then give Eragon a try! You will wish for a dragon every day from then on.

001: EID MUBARAK. I had a nice day yesterday with my friends. I even wore some cheap and chavvy earrings from Primark hahaaa. Nah they're not that chavvy but I haven't worn ~statement~ earrings in SO long. I'm probably going to get in to a long-earring rut now!

002: I NEED MONEY. I am feeling the strain and omg A/W is my favourite season so I'm literally crying into my empty wallet as I shuffle through the high street. I have a few jewellery ideas that I'll need to hurry up and make so that they could be bought as christmas presents too so I'm excited about that. I might look for a job but it might be a bad idea since i'm horrible at prioritising and organising my time and I'd end up going to uni, working and blogging and then not doing extra uni work. I NEED TO KNUCKLE DOWN. You could blame my blogging but it honestly does not take up much of my time. I spend too much time ~surfing the internet for timewasting things.

003: Please bear with the layout for a while...it's a bit too lacy and sweet but I'm still working on it. I like the background but I may try finding something a little edgier for the date backgrounds. I wanted something a little warmer for the season as my last layout was very blue.

004: Finally, I want a hair change. Suggestions? I may buy a fake full fringe like Lily and see what it looks like. She definitely fooled me! I know I said I was going to go for the chop but I don't know! What if my hair just won't grow after that? My hair grows super fast but I'm scared it might suddenly be like LOL OK THEN! I'M NOT GONNA GROW BACK NOW UGH. :'( Help please? I'm also thinking about dying it...maybe really dark brown? Again, I don't know because I know I'm super blessed to have naturally black hair. Alright enough rambling from me, good day!

I really do love these posts, and so do you guys it seems. They're always the most popular ones. I am in love with everything actually, I'm so happy with everything I've bought. I only have one more request and that's a faux-fur-collar-coat! PLEASE let me find a reasonably priced but nice one?

I was asked about this necklace on twitter. I used to make little clay models of cakes and doughnuts and I made one recently which I painted gold and added some glitter to. Would any of you be interested in buying them? They're completely handmade. I'm thinking of making other things too :)

I took these when I got back from uni hence the crappy lighting and also my crappy face! I haven't worn an all black outfit in so long. I kind of regretted it as I got very hot at one point and blamed the black. The top is so nice and versatile, you can tuck it in or you can just throw it on over a skirt/jeans. I love the subtle beading on the sleeves too. Couldn't NOT get this for £12 now could I? I paired my H&M lace skirt which I put under those slightly longer tops so it looks like a lace hem or trim. I can only ever wear it with leggings though because it's quite short.

Also I've been wearing those boots NON STOP. They're so comfy and just go with everything. I can see them falling apart in the foreseeable future.

I'm also in LOVE with the necklace so much! I'll show you more detail in a "recent purchases" post but it's so nice! I felt very cosy when I went to uni but of course my labs were BOILING. Apparently computers radiate out crazy heat 'cos I was sweating.

001: This week has been such a fail work-wise. I've been ill which basically brought everything to a standstill. I'm awful! I've also been phone-less because I returned the blackberry (if you guys are interested in a review I'd love to do one! I'm a techno freak. BB vs iPhone?). I finally have the iPhone 4 now! I was thinking of getting the 4S but it was loads more expensive and the only difference was the camera and Siri. I already have an SLR so a camera isn't a huge necessity is it? Anyways I'm happy to be reunited with the iPhone <3

002: Yesterday I went to lakeside with my sister and had such a good day. I got some amazing purchases from Primark, I'll be sure to show them in a 'recent purchases' post asap! I also got a few goodies from the topshop sale. It was so nice just to walk around and enjoy some retail therapy. I'm a bit of a panic buyer, especially as I was using my mums card. It results in me buying a lot, freaking out about how much I've spent and then feeling guilty for the rest of the day. I have to admit this kind of ruined the day for me as I was constantly worrying! I really need to get a job so I can just spend my own money with no guilt!

003: I've also been feeling really lazy. I've been invited out and to parties but I turn them down at the last minute because I've just been feeling really...I don't know. I prefer snuggling up in bed with a Harry Potter DVD than partying somewhere. Is this strange? My uni friends are sick of me bailing out on them HAHA. I'm sooOoOooO popula....what to do SIGH!

Sorry the photos are crappy, I was rushing when taking this. I'm finally feeling better! Who knew that bedrest actually helps?! I used to just take my paracetomol and do work, leaving me ill for a week or so but laying in bed actually HELPS! Crazy stuff...

I'm going to see Tintin tonight with the family! It's very exciting because they were very important to my dad when he was younger...think of the Tintin books as Harry Potter books for me. See how important they are? I can't wait to see it, I love Jamie Bell's voice and of course two of the best directors are involved; Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson. EPIC.

I love the Primark jumper but it's a bit shapeless and weird length. It's still very cosy though and for £10 I couldn't REALLY complain! I'm going to lakeside on Saturday so hopefully I can do a spot of retail therapy. I've been slacking this week! Thurs & Fri I'm going to do all my uni work :S I have LOADS to do, dear God! I guess the I-won't-leave-it-to-last-minute thing didn't really work out. Did I really expect it to...?

001: Disney On Ice was magical! I highly recommend you go see it. I love Ice Skating and have always dreamed I could be flexible enough to do it or ballet/gymnastics! However my fear of slipping on ice limits what I can do on ice haha! Have any of you gone to see it?

002: I'm ill! BOOOO! I hate being ill because my brain is on overdrive, telling myself all the things I need to do but since I'm ill I don't have the energy to do those things! I have ~virtual week now which basically means I can stay at home but all my uni work will be posted online and has to be done! I'm feeling a bit lost with uni. People come from so many different backgrounds and some people know more than others! I have lots of reading to do to get a better understanding because I feel like they're just throwing facts at me! :S

003: I just whipped up a quick chocolate cake and now there's literally a small chunk left. The joys of having a large, cake-loving family! I'm really trying to kick my fear of cooking and start learning. I've bookmarked so many recipes, now I just need to try them! I have a fear of messing up and also giving people food poisoning! I find cooking chicken/fish terrifying! WHAT IF IT GOES HORRIBLY WRONG? But I need to overcome it! I'm an old-fashioned housewife on the inside ;)

I won this dress from the lovely Arabella and it was such a surprise! I'd originally asked for the black but they were out of stock so I got the berry/pinky colour. It's such a gorgeous dress but unfortunately shamefully short! I have quite a long torso/body so it looks very short on me but...I'll make it work ;) It's one of those great dresses that you can wear on a night out or dress down with a cardigan and wear during the day! I love it so much, thank you Inlovewithfashion and Arabella! Also if you're thinking of buying one of these dresses, please be aware that if you're a size 14 or above it probably won't fit you. :( Hopefully one day they'll have more sizes!

Life has been whizzing past, work is piling up and I'm constantly tired! Commuting is such a hassle, I'm so glad it's virtual week next week. I'm going to catch up on everything, do some extra reading and sleep a lot! It's also getting bloody FREEZING. My feet are constantly cold, I seriously need to make a trip to primark to buy some woolly socks. Speaking of Primark, I've found my DREAM coat! Featured in Zoella's haul video, I NEED THAT COAT. I will be getting it asap and I can't wait!

I'm going to Disney On Ice on Saturday with my brother and sister. No idea what I'm going to wear...probably about 10 layers for a start! I am excited though, I will always love Disney. I watched Lion King 3D and I forget how FUNNY that film is! It's crazy how long ago it came out (it was my first video!) and yet the humour is still applicable and funny. It's a timeless classic. I can't wait to watch the Musical version one day!

p.s. the Emma Watson obsession has reached new heights. Why can't I just be her?

Yes I converted from iPhone to Blackberry. Most people think I'm completely bonkers but I did it to stop myself becoming so attached to my phone. The iPhone gives unbelievable ease is surfing the web and doing everything you'd on the computer and I'd spend too much time on it. I need to get serious with Uni work so I bought a blackberry. It just as limiting as I thought! However I have to admit, the phone itself is stunning. I have no idea how anyone with a blackberry lived without the new touchscreen but I love it. BBM is awesome too (if you guys want to add me tweet me for it!). Most of the apps are pretty shit, they all seem very unfinished and inconsistent. The design is lacking and some of the colour schemes are very dated. However I'm enjoying it and I couldn't afford the iPhone 4 anyway! (so far the battery life is awful though. I don't know if it's because I've been downloading apps or what but WOW I thought the iPhone was bad!) The deal is amazing at only £26 a month and I got it off here.

YAY my asos dress arrived (soz about the wrinkles)! It's by Vero Moda and I love it so much! It's amazing quality and it's the perfect Autumn/Fall dress. I got it for £19 in the 48 hour sale but it's back to £38 now! I wore it yesterday and got a lot of compliments on it and I love it so much! I really want to get a sparkly belt for it so a trip to Primark might be necessary soon. I think I'm going to plan one for Monday since I want to pick up this bag as well.

I actually wore my hair down yesterday but I felt like putting it up for the photos. I'm seriously considering "permanently" straightening my hair because it's so much less hassle! I may curl it on thursday though so if I do I'll take pics! I used to straighten/curl my hair all the time and put so much effort into my hair! Nowadays 90% of the time I just shove it all up into a messy bun!

I've got actual Uni work to do now :( One of my lecturers is so annoyingly scary that I practically trip over from the speed of trying to finish what he tells us to do. I was also very nearly late today. You know when you get on the bus when you're in a hurry and it decides to move at tortoise-pace? I felt like screaming and just running to Uni. AGH. Public transport will be the death of me. Seriously.

Yay an actual outfit OF THE day today! I took these before I went to uni! I was hoping my ASOS dress would arrive before I went but it came after so I'll take a picture of it tomorrow because I love it so much! I actually didn't wear this blazer in the end, I wore the outfit like this since it was too hot for the blazer. I really like this outfit, the dress is my sisters but it fits me too. It's very non-topshop-y but we found it in the sale for £8 and snapped it up!

I also straightened my hair and realised how long it is! I really need a good haircut and maybe get layers again. I'm actually loving my fringe long though and if I ever change it, it'll be to get a full fringe (idk if that would suit me though...)

I had a hellish lecture today! The lecturer was so fast and just whizzing through topics, I was getting so confused! He wasn't giving any background to what he was talking about so we were all so lost. Thankfully the lab work kind of made sense but I can't wait to LEARN these things so that I don't have to spend ages copying and typing! -.- I've got an early start tomorrow :(

001: I had such a good day yesterday! Turns out it was Whitefriars shopping day or something and there was a fashion show in Canterbury and they gave out goodie bags too. We went to watch Harry Potter and only had to pay £4ish since we had 2 for 1 and then the 3D went bust so we had to wait a while in the cinema. Odeon, being the babes they are, gave us free tickets that we could use whenever and I also got a 3D Harry Potter poster WOOOOP. It was so nice to catch up with my friends, I miss them so much! It also made me realise that I will be friends with them FOREVER. I do love my uni friends but since I've known my school BFFs for 7 years, we have such a connection! It's so strange.

002: I'm also planning a short trip to Paris in december with my friend since one of our friends is living in Paris for the year! She's working as an Au Pair and has a LOT of bonuses. I hope it definitely happens because I'd love a week away in Paris without my family. My dad always makes our visits/holidays really hectic. I'm sure it'll be really laid back with my friend.

003: SO England is literally blistering! It's so unbelievably hot. I can guarantee you that all these moaners who are hating on the sun will moan when the sun stops shining abruptly and we get hit with ice cold winds. Gotta love the moaners!

Yes I know what you're thinking. Oh my God, OUTSIDE pics? They were no picnic. First of all, these bloody shoes are amazing but I can't wear them because I have wide feet and skinny heels/ankles which means my feet slip out of shoes. It's such a pain because it means there are hardly any heels without straps that I can wear :( So anyways, I had to stumble around on the grass in these bloody wedges and on top of that it's BOILING. Just last week I was smiling at my jumpers and tights, excited for autumn and BAM, it seems as if we've gone back in time according to the weather clock. I shouldn't be complaining...but I am.

I bought this midi skirt from India but it's quite an awkward length. Also I hate the waist detail and I really want a large belt to cover it, but other than that it's quite nice. The inside lining gets crinkled and makes it poof out a lot but whatever...I'm just being picky. Otherwise it's a pretty boring outfit really. I don't know if I'll always take outside pics but since it was such a nice day I thought I'd make the most of it. I'm pretty sure my neighbour was spying on me though since I heard some rustling...hmm...

I'm going to watch Harry Potter again tomorrow! Haven't seen it since the midnight showing on Friday the 15th of July! :O Excited to see it again woooohoo. And they're giving out posters apparantly? WOOP won't mind having another one of those!

OK please be aware that I wore this last week, not during this heat spell haha! I thought all this ~heat-wave-in-kent~ malarky was a joke but nope! The sun is shining away! I have a day off today so I thought I'd show my new favourite dress. I think I'm going to wear it to uni tomorrow (unless it's really warm!). I do wear it with the top button undone though since it feels and looks more casual. However the seam by the buttoms ripped slightly which is very disappointing. It was easy to fix though and I didn't need to be neat since it's hidden. I'm loving the bag and hat too! I do feel a bit of a twat wearing the hat though. I wish bloggers weren't so ahead fashion-wise since people still haven't donned hats around here haha! Ah well, I think it'll get more use in the colder days.

I'm really enjoying uni! Finally found some funny friends who I'm loving! Unfortunately I've realised that thursdays are hell-on-earth-day. I have to be at uni from 9 till 6. 9 TILL 6? Dear lord! I do get a 4 hour gap in between but STILL! That'll be fun won't it?

DIY Wall Initials/Letters Decoration

This isn't really a tutorial since it's probably the easiest thing in the whole wide world. However, if you can't buy cardboard alphabet letters you can make some with card using this tutorial. I actually have made these but I still haven't finished paper mache-ing and painting.

What you need:

Cardboard letters (spell out initials, your name, quote etc) - Hobbycraft or equivalent
Paint + paintbrushes

Now the reason this isn't actually a tutorial is because it's completely up to you! I, however, wanted a slightly shabby chic, nautical, girly look so I went for this design. I was going to do pastel polka dots though! Just have fun with it! Use glitter, sequins, feathers etc! GO CrAzY!

1) Paint a three coats of your base coat!
2) Paint a different colour on the edge. I used gold. I had to use a lot of coats though since it was a bit crappy.
3) Decorate! I did very simple lines in a messy, scribbly effect.

002: I AM SO TIRED. I just constantly feel drowsy and POOPED. It may have been the coach trip to birmingham yesterday. Got home at 4am (!!!). Stumbling into your room, ripping your clothes off and wiping make-up off with your eyes cemented shut is not recommended!

003: I'm sorry for the lack of outfit posts! I vow to do a few this week! I'll be trying to adjust to my university timetable now. I had a look around the town near Uni and there's some great cheap shops! Internacionale, Primark and loads of those stores that aren't legally supposed to be there haha! I'm still unsure as to whether I should get a job, I think I'd have too much on my plate. I might have to seriously consider my Jewellery business that I want to start since I need SOME kind of income *0*!

004: FIRST LECTURE TOMORROW. I may come back and blog about how awful my life is but hopefully I'll enjoy it ha! I can't wait to immerse myself in this course. After two years of science which I hated I hope I spend my three years at Uni enjoying the course and feeling like I can actually DO something rather than scraping by. Wish me luck! Also good luck to any other Uni-starters and also 6th formers! A levels are the hardest part in your life; get through them and you should breeze through the education system :)

10 Wardrobe Essentials

- A sheer blouse. Any colour, any style, any opacity. You can pair it with jeans or tuck it into a skirt. A classic piece! I'd recommend buying one in white and black and then maybe buying a few fun colours.

- Jeans. I think skinny jeans are the most flattering on me but this is all up to you! Zara have some good, affordable jeans but shop around and try a few on!

- Leggings. Not much to say really, I think this a must for everyone! Great to pair under a dress, slouchy jumper, long top, WHATEVER. Bonus points for comfort!

- A blazer. I'd recommend getting a couple, a fitted one for formal events, a slouchy one for casual day-to-day wear and some in colours. Black is a must though.

- Pleated skirt! Probably my most worn item in my wardrobe! I honestly see a good skirt as a staple item like jeans. Get one in black and you'll find yourself pairing it with every top/dress you own. I recommend getting these in classic colours to get the most wear out of them but a few fun colours can be added too.

- Plain tee. A nice slouchy tea, tight distressed jeans and a gorgeous bag; perfect outfit. Some tee's can be very flattering but make sure to try them on. V necks are great and maybe go a size up for ultimate comfort!

- The striped tee! I still need to buy a full sleeved one of these. This is the one pattern that you can literally pair with anything and still get away with. You will immediately feel very parisian too.

- Skater dress. A relatively new trend, but one I'm loving. Mainly because it's so low maintenance. It's the star of the show, just throw it on and accessorise et voila!

- CARDIGAN. I'm sure you ALL have at LEAST one of these. Make sure you get a normal cardi, a long cardi, a cropped cardi, a slouchy cardi and a chunky cardi. Colours are up to you ;)

- I don't actually have one of these in my wardrobe, I hate my legs and don't think trousers look good on me. I'm still going to go and try a few, maybe find one right for me! I think this colour is gorgeous and works in summer and winter! A black pair would be a good investment though.

What I love about this set is that they all work together! I really need to do this with my wardrobe and make it interchangeable like Gok Wan does on his Fashion Fix. Some examples:

001: I'VE STARTED UNI. Commuting is crap, I'm really tired, I usually have to leave early and I just miss out on all the fun :'( Can't wait to move out next year! I've made some friends tho, but I'm so crap at it....I feel like I'm a creep hahaaaa.

002: Soz I haven't been blogging. I'm pretty tied up at the moment and seriously tired from the train journeys. I better save shitloads of money cos I hate trains. I'm going to learn to drive ASAP because public transport just makes me angry. For now, I'm just going to get lots of sleep and do my make-up on the train. Good plan, yes?

I went to Primark and Hobbycraft! From Hobbycraft I got two cardboard letters (soz the Z is the wrong way...clearly I'm blind), gold spray paint and gold paint. From Primark I got a jumper (£10), dress (£17) and three leopard print items to fuel my obsession. A fleece nightie (£6), slippers (£3) and the best bag ever. Please just go to Primark to buy this bag because it's AMAZING I am in love :o (£8). I literally got the bag and nightie at the last minute and threw it at my dad who was at the cashier. I must have looked like a madwoman (nothing new there really...)!

If you follow me on twitter you'll know that I really loved this outfit. It's inspired by this picture that I found where she's wearing the same dress! I originally threw on this jumper but then tried this and preferred it much more as it was in the same colour palette. I absolutely love this dress and don't know why I don't wear it more. I was supposed to go out so I got all dressed up, did my make-up, went downstairs but then felt dizzy and realised how ill I felt so I took a rain check (Speaking of which, I cursed my town and now it's raining. The rest of England was being battered by a hurricane tale while my town was sunny and lovely...until I mentioned it). I'm kind of peeved since I spent time getting ready UGH I hate feeling ill! This dress is also very poofy at the front so it looks like I'm pregnant, but I have an excuse- IT'S THE DRESS ;)

I've been throwing this bag over everything too. I usually wear very girly, casual pieces so a bit of leather is needed to toughen up my outfits. I added a long strap from an old bag because I hate holding bags in the crook of my elbow. Does anyone know where you can buy long clip-on straps for bags? I have a few bags that need them! I got this bag in Primark a while ago for £2 (sale!) and it's surprisingly roomy! I can fit my hunk of a camera in there and more so it's definitely spacious! I've been wearing the necklace a lot too! Definitely worth a tenner, I think!

I'm getting very into nail art and am very tempted to buy this set off eBay. How cheap is that?! I'm so amazed! I'm also going to treat myself to a pair of new straighteners. I really want the Cloud Nines, they look very nice! I've had my straighteners for 6 years now! I got it in the midst of the obsession that all girls had with poker-straight hair, in year nine! Ah such good times. I use a Babyliss Pro 230 by the way and I highly recommend it! I'll do a review on my other blog some time.

Just a few sneaky purchases I've made recently. I'm really proud as I bought things I genuinely needed. I've been wanting a floppy hat and a chunky chain necklace for so long! Also I've coveted the L'Oreal liner for far too long so I'm glad I got my paws on that. I also bought a blouse from H&M which I'm going to take back because it's so unflattering, it makes me look pregnant. And I regretfully picked up a lipgloss by Revlon from Boots that I didn't need but you can't return cosmetics (even though it's sealed!) which is so annoying. Oh well it's a pretty colour! 001: I went to Tinseltown for the first time yesterday for my friends birthday and it was yummy! I had a cajun chicken wrap, fries and an oreo milkshake. I shared the wrap with a friend though, I don't know how I would have finished it if I had it on my own I was so full after! We then went to some shisha place afterwards which was very strange! I don't smoke anything so I didn't do it but it was very dark and smokey in there. However it was a cool atmosphere, just that this was a friend who brought her other friends and obviously they have their little jokes and memories which I couldn't really keep up with!

002: I felt really off today. I realised that I really need to move out because I need some change in my life. I'm going to phone the uni tomorrow and hope there's a room and just use student loans to help me. I'm too old to be shaped by my parents now, it's time that I felt the struggles of real life! Parents should be there to comfort and offer advice, not do everything for you at this age. Wish me luck guys!

003: I'm going to try making tomorrow a productive day; phone uni, beg for a room, post ebay stuff, do some painting/drawing, sort out student finance, sort out bank account and start writing list of things to take to uni! I've been reading loads of uni tips blog posts and I'm getting so excited! I hope I make friends :S I can just imagine walking in and everyone staring at me and hating me. Oh my god, I'm freaking myself out :S

I've had my eye on this top since it came out in Topshop but I never got round to buying it (typical me), especially as it was around £30 I think. However I found this one on eBay months ago and recently bought one for my sisters bday present. This is a size 10 and it's MASSIVE on her, the sleeves off! It fits me quite well but as you can see it's still slightly baggy for me as well. The seller says they've never had this problem and she's sent one in a size smaller for my sister and has let me keep this one which is nice of her! Makes you wonder how much she paid for these through wholesale though if she can give one away like that! I do really like it though, and it's the only peter pan collared item I own. The start of a new obsession, maybe?

Speaking of obsessions I ordered the MUA palette in Heaven & Earth and it came today! I'm so impressed with Superdrug, the £3 delivery charge is SO worth it! My two items came in a MASSIVE box and it was dispatched on the day I ordered! I don't know how it compares to the Naked Palette as I don't own one but Lily says it's even better! I'm really loving all the colours :o! I also got the MUA curl mascara which I'm liking too. Might need some time to get used to the ridiculously curvy brush though.

001: I've had a bit of a crazy weekend. The week itself has been pretty meh. On Thursday I met up with a few friends and sat in the park chatting though which was nice but the weekend was pretty ~jam-packed. My friend and her family came round on Friday and we watched some rom-coms and did the usual sleepover shiz. Then on Saturday we went to the zoo (omg baby monkeys are SO CUTE ASDFJGHK!!!!), then went shopping and then went to the beach! It was so nice and the beach was a really nice relaxing end, even though there was a little boy running around naked which I thought was quite gross but w/e (he was like 6 or something but still!!!). I then dyed my friends hair purple (she has black hair so it gave a purple tint). My gloves were covered in red gunk which looked like blood so I ran downstairs to the parents and freaked them out lolz.

002: TODAY we went to Tesco (I checked out the Vivo make-up line and everything looks so good!) and we went in my mums car which is diesel. Of course my dad forgot for a few mins and was putting in petrol before he realised. So we were stuck for 3 hours waiting for a towing thing. We could've just taken a taxi but I couldn't be bothered to pay really. It was still quite an experience driving in a truck!

003: I also received a sample of the Burberry perfume; Body (I got it from liking their facebook thingy...) and I was so impressed with the sample. I'm used to the simple vials with a tiny spray at the top but this is an actual bottle (I'll photograph it sometime if you guys want) and it smells quite nice. It's a strong, floral scent and it reminds of Arab perfumes. I'd recommend sniffing one at your local perfume-place ;)

I'm going to watch yesterdays CREEPY Doctor Who! :o Was it a good one? How have you guys been this week? :)

I had a lovely Eid yesterday! It was slightly ruined by some friends who were complaining about how boring it was and then left early to go hang out in london without some of us who couldn't go, which I thought was quite rude but I didn't say anything. However to me Eid is a lot about family. I find it embarrassing when some of my friends complain about how they can't just hang out with their friends on Eid...I mean I very rarely hear anyone here choose their friends over their family for Christmas. Why is it any different for us? Nevertheless, apart from this slight annoyance it was a nice day. I wore this Churidar/Salwar Kameez that my aunty had given me in India. I also straightened my hair for the first time in ages! I'm so lazy with my hair nowadays. I remember in Year 9 I'd straighten it like every day! Aaah young times!

I also did henna for me and my sister. It's very messy because the henna cone was thick and weird :/ I tried my best though! It's very dark today too, I'll take an after post sometime! It's a dark maroon/brown at the mo!

Today I tried on my ~*dream*~ topshop dress and it looked REALLY good! I posted pictures on twitter here, here, here and here. What do you guys think? I'm worried I'll splurge on it and find it in the sale for a tenner or something. It's gorgeous but I was quite disappointed by the quality of the lining. The outside material is the standard topshop see-through material (also used by primark) but the lining was a thick "silky" material which felt very synthetic and very similar to the crappy primark linings which is unfortunate for something that is £50! I don't know, it's a very unusual piece and I hardly ever treat myself. I've honestly never bought any clothing from topshop for full price! :S I don't think I can let this go though, I can imagine it coming back to haunt me in the future!

Remember this dress? I was once raving about it in a wishlist and if I had £38 knocking about I would've bought it in a heartbeat. But of course I have no idea what the meaning of "saving-up" is and therefore hardly EVER have money. A month ago my sister found this dress in Topshop in her size for £8 in the sale. I was practically on my knees trying to squeeze into it but to no avail. I was so very close to shelling out £28 for the ones on eBay when suddenly I found it. Someone was selling theirs after wearing it once (so they say) and I snapped this up for £3.99. Yes you read right. It's gorgeous in real life oh lordy! I got it a few days ago but I'm only wearing it now since it's been in the wash. Is it just me who can't stand other people's smell on their clothes (unless you know them well)? I don't know, it gets me on the verge of throwing up! I always have to rinse my charity shop/boot fair finds like a maniac otherwise I feel sick for the whole day!

Anyways back to the dress. It's a tiny bit too big for me, it's a size 14 and I'm a 10/12 so the shoulders keep slipping slightly, almost exposing my bra straps (I hate when that happens!). May need to fix it. I accessorized quite lightly (do you like my Thomas Sabo-alike bracelet I got from eBay? I love it!) and I wore my trusty H&M moccassins.

I'm currently going through a wardrobe revamp. I'm selling loads of clothes that are just not my style now. I always feel like I wear too many layers, just because I hate my arms so I cover them up with cardis, blazers etc. I'm going to buy more 3/4 sleeve and long sleeve dresses to fill my wardrobe with. They're so much easier to wear! I also really need and over-sized, long blazer; anyone have any recs? Also I'm still aching for this dress, it's so gorgeous! Might need to treat myself to it soon.

p.s. good luck to any of you who recieve your GCSE results today! Hope you're happy. I didn't revise anywhere near enough and still came out with one A*, 7 A's and 2 B's! So I'm sure you've all done fabulously! And if not...just marry a rich guy ;)

How gorgeous are these boots? At £40 they are a bit steep for me but all I can see is the gorgeous red and also the platform. I love my DP ankle boots but the lack of platform mean they get painful after a few hours. These are an appropriate height for everyday and they're gorgeous! You might not know it but I swear red goes with everything? I have a red coat and I can literally throw it on over anything.

I've had a pretty average day today. It started with depression over not going to Oxford Brookes which was then quickly forgotten about when I remembered the accommodation fees. Even without En-suite my accommodation costs came to around £5k or £6k. And that's without living costs and food! I don't even get a maintenance grant so that is def. not doable for me! Also to those who are wondering I think I'm going to stay put at Greenwich. GOD, now do you see how bad I am at decisions?

Anyway apart from that I popped down to the postoffice with loads of ebay shiz and a penpal letter to OLAAAAA. I have some ebay goodies up right now including a vintage (I think it's Chanel...) quilted cardi, a vintage shirt/blouse and my new look floral dress. I'll need to go tomorrow to send out my giveaway prizes too, the woman at the post office practically expects me every day now haha! I also went to Sainsbury and picked up the famous Garnier body intensive 7 days lotion that everyone raves about on blogger! So far I'm really loving it!

5 Things

I went out to Reculver the other day and it was a beautiful evening. These three pictures show 5 favourite things actually.

First one is the shirt. I wear this shirt atleast once every week because it's SO easy to wear, so flattering and comfy. I love it! I got it from Bangalore three years ago and it's one of my classic pieces.

Secondly the shoes. I knew I'd love them but now I'm loving them too much. They're starting to wear away :( All good things come to an end... I got them from H&M a few months ago and even though it took like two months for it to get here, it was well worth it!

Thirdly, the bag. I got it from Rome and actually got it for free. The seller was a Muslim and he came running after us and gave us this bag and proceeded to tell us about how he's starting up a Muslim organisation in Rome. It was just a lovely gesture and I honestly wear it with everything. It's quite spacious too!

Fourthly, the book. I'd just finished reading The Memory Keeper's Daughter which left me quite sad and confused. It was beautifully written but I felt a bit depressed at the end haha so I picked up Eragon to cheer me up. As you can see it's quite heavily thumbed. I love settling down with this series, they're wonderful books. AH I wish I could have a dragon...I can't wait for the fourth book which is coming out in November.

And last but not least fifth is my family. They came together surprisingly well for my results and have been a great support. I honestly thought they'd be angry and disappointed but they've been going over options and choices with me and have really helped me through everything.

Wearing the jacket I featured in my *haul*, I really love it. I wish it was a jersey or elastic material so I could scrunch the sleeves up and it'd stay there but it's a soft cotton material. The print is beautiful and it hangs really nicely! I now really need some plain dresses to wear under this since you could easily go a step too far and have too much clashing prints going on. I was going to just wear the tunic by itself but I added the green skirt to pull together a nice spring look. I think the green complements the pink in the jacket wonderfully! It's one of my favourite colour combinations so I had to try it!

I left my hair down today but it's such a mess! I really need to trim it, I haven't had it properly cut in a year or two. I really dislike going to the hairdressers, maybe it's just my one? They're very quiet and I always feel like they're judging my hair. The only reason I go there is because it's only £18 for a wash, cut, blowdry AND straightening. They're always really good too but I've just been lazy really. Some of you are so sweet saying my hair is nice but honestly it's such a hassle! I'd give anything to have straight hair, it's so low maintenance.

Tomorrow is results day aka doomsday. I'm warming up to the idea of going to India, just because I'm not sure Oxford Brookes is the place for me...and I don't want to apply next year! I don't care what these *experts* say, a loan is a loan and ANY kind of debt should not be ignored and made light of. £9k a year is SERIOUS money and I think everyone needs to think seriously about this! What do you think about the tuition fees? Do you think these so-called experts are trying to gloss over the fact that these students are going to be in huge debt?

001: oh HELLO thereee. I went to TK Maxx yesterday and I was finding so many brands that I recognised! I bought some Steve Madden pumps and some Michael Kors flats which I'm selling on ebay now. Everyone needs to traipse down to their TK Maxx because mine seems to have gotten a lot of brands! Here are the shoes (+ a dress): (click on them to go bid on them!)

002: On top of that today I went to the bootfair and tucked in between some shirts was this gorgeous vintage looking cardigan. There was no tags with the brand but the buttons say Chanel. Who knows if it's real, the woman was quite hesitant to let it go but she did. I'll be selling it too so watch out for that!

DIY leopard print nails

I'm getting a lot of questions on my nails on twitter and instagram and it's all thanks to Gem Fatale and her tutorial. It's quite easy but does get fiddly when you try to do the right hand. Go and check out her video and leave her some love, but I've also taken some step-by-step pictures too! :)

What you need
- Base coat and top coat
- Two nail colours
- Liquid eyeliner OR wah nail pen (I really need to get one of these!)
- Patience!

Instructions
1) Paint your basecoat. I'm using a cheapo w7 one!

2) Paint your base colour. I'm using Barry M's Berry Ice Cream.

3) Next do small splodges with another colour. You can do this however you like, you can keep them the same size or do different sizes, etc. I'm using Barry M Blueberry Ice Cream.

4) Use your eyeliner or nail art pen or brush to paint small lines around the circles. Do one or two and add small dots too. Look at a picture of leopard print to really get the idea.

Hello hello! I know, two posts in ONE day :O I very rarely do this, I don't know it makes me feel weird but since my last post was a competition entry I thought you wouldn't mind. Sorry the pictures a bit crappy, my camera was having an off day and I'm just awful at posing. You get the jist though. I really need to buy more short, statement necklaces! They look so good resting under the collar of a blouse. I'd really like a sparkly or embellished one like Emily is rocking. It looks amazing with her outfit. I'm not wearing anything new here apart from the nails. Of course, like everyone else, I was inspired by Lily and went and looked at Gem Fatale's Tuesday Tip (who deserves a lot of thanks!). I've taken some pics to show a step-by-step process which I'll show you soon!

I don't have much to say really...I've done a holiday haul which I'll put up soon and maybe do a post on! So I'm taking this blogging thing up a notch by entering the LOOK blogging competition. The question is simple; why should you be front row at The Look Show AW11 at Westfield Stratford City?

Firstly I'm going to start with a little introduction. My name is Shabna, I'm 18 years old and I live in Kent. I'm from India (specifically Kerala) and I'm also Muslim. Both of these traits push huge traditions and rules onto me, my culture and religion very much shape a lot about me, including my fashion. From a young age I had a "passion for fashion" (not just because I owned Bratz Dolls) but I felt lost in my search for clothes. I dressed in jeans and t-shirts because I was scared. I longed to whip on a skirt and just go out with no worries but being brought up dressing modestly put a stop to that. Then at the age of 16 I looked at the whole picture. I was restricting myself instead of trying to find a solution! And from that moment on my options opened up. I took trends and put my own twist on them. England has the perfect weather to wear tights and cardigans, even in the summer. I felt comfortable in my clothes and got compliments on my styling. I became a shopping addict, and LOOK magazine was one of my favourite magazines for my love of fashion. You don't have to flick through countless ads and all of their featured items are affordable!

Then 2 years ago I started my blog. I was initially inspired by Zoella and my blog was almost a copy. I didn't understand the true meaning of blogging and I fell into the "how-do-you-get-so-many-followers" trap. It didn't last and I left my blog, until I fell into the world of fashion blogging. Of course my inspiration was Lily from llymlrs. She was unique, and she stood by what she believed in. I admired her talent and she revolutionised a new type of fashion blogging, where you don't have to hold a starbucks coffee cup and stand on rail tracks in your outfit photos. Her simplicity and authenticity inspired me to make my blog what I wanted it to be. Now my blog is one of the only straight-and-narrow things in my life. My life is a confused mess; in the last two years I've made so many mistakes involving my education. I followed my parents wishes in wanting to be a doctor when I really wanted to go into I.T or maths or fashion. I have too many interests to stay put! If I could have my way I'd be a software engineer, mathematician, fashion designer, script writer, director, journalist, presentor, magazine editor....ETC! My head is a jumbled MESS. But in all of that mess, my blog stands up out of the tangles. My blog is exclusive to fashion, beauty, my lifestyle and whatever I want on there. It gives me structure in my hectic and stressful days. Only recently have I branched out and started talking to bloggers. I've started making some lovely and beautiful friends. I've been blogging for 2 years but I'm only really becoming a blogger now. Blogging isn't just about followers or comments, it's about sharing your interests with others, about making friends with people who have similar interests, about putting yourself out there and showing how dedicated you are to your passion. Blogging is one of the few things that keep me sane. I want to show other girls who are like me, that you can follow fashion trends and still dress modestly, I want to show them that whatever happens in life, it's your life and you are responsible for it.

I'd like to have the opportunity to blog from the front row at the The Look Show to share my interpretations of this years trends, to share my stylings and opinions and if I'd get the chance it would literally change my life. Not only that but it would be the perfect time to meet some bloggers and fully immerse myself into the blogging world. I believe everyone can look beautiful, everyone can make an item of clothing their own; it just depends on how you wear it. It's my dream to help people realise that you don't have to be skinny to pull something off, you don't have to be so-and-so height to wear something, you don't have to look like him or her to buy that top; you can look beautiful in anything and still look like you. I blog for everyone, for everyones style and that's what I would do with the oppurtunity to blog from the front row at The Look Show.

I'm back! It feels good to be home. I still haven't unpacked (I hate unpacking) but along with my vogue magazine and CS4FN magazine on my doorstep there was a H&M brochure. I flicked through and stopped short on literally every page, H&M have done it again. Sometimes they just release a collection where I strongly believe I need to own every single piece. I can't wait for Versace for H&M too!

Piz Buin In Sun Radiant Face Cream

I've been looking for a good face sunscreen for so long. I've always been tempted to buy these Piz Buin products but this small tube was £9.95 which I thought was a bit steep. In ASDA it was down to £5 but I was stuck on which one to get. Either this or the Nivea face sunscreen which was also £5 but you got much more product. I went for this to see if it is worth the price.
The last sunscreen I used was a prescription one that my sister got. It had a very thick texture which a slight white tint which I didn't like as I really had to blend for ages to make sure my skin didn't look ashy. This was the complete opposite. It is slightly thicker than a moisturiser but it blends nicely and doesn't make the face feel oily or greasy. It also has shimmer to give a glow which I quite like but if you don't like shimmer on your face then go for another sunscreen.

Overall I'm quite impressed with this and hopefully it'll work well under the Indian sun. I'm going to see my relatives in Kerala (we have a house there) but we're also going to visit Madras this year which I'm very excited about! I hope it actually happens though because my dad can be quite impulsive and when we get there he might change his mind. This is a scheduled post so i'll be in India already :)

001: End of an era. Nothing else to live for. LOL i'm just kidding but Harry Potter has been a part of my life ever since I could remember. It was one of the first things that rooted me to England, and more importantly Herne Bay. I'd moved to Herne Bay in Year 3 and when I started reading HP everyone had so we all had something to discuss. It's ridiculous how many jokes me and my friends have involving harry potter, we just slip it into our everyday chats. The movies may have not always been a great patch on the book but it was exciting waiting for them and then traipsing to the cinema with your mum or dad to watch it. My parents were never into it but I recently got my sister into it so it's nice to have someone to talk to about it at home! I'm going to miss this so much. It's strangely symbolic as I became 18 this year, it really is like the end of my childhood.

This is what I'm wearing to the airport tomorrow! Breezy and comfy. Hopefully that will stay true haha. The flight is at 8am tomorrow. I'm going to the midnight showing of Harry Potter which will finish at around 2.25am, my poor dad is collecting me and we're rushing home, we leave the house at 4am, catch the flight at 8am to Qatar where we have 8 hours till the next flight. We're going to my dad's friends villa to freshen up and do some sightseeing, then we're catching the flight to india! I'll be gone for a month so remember to enter my giveaway! What to take on holiday (makeup-wise)

1) MASCARA. On days when I can't be bothered I just put some mascara on and I feel fresh and awakened. I'm loving the maybelline one by one volum' express mascara.

2) SUNSCREEN. I'll review this Piz Buin one later on, so far I'm loving it! I recommend going SPF 30 and up to have any effect!

3) Moisturiser is a must. No question.

4) Eyeshadow! I'd recommend some shimmery ones because they just look better in the summer. I'm invited to a wedding too so I need some sparkle on my eyes. I love this Stila Quad called Marrakesh. The dark brown is the perfect colour for smokey eyes. I'd recommend a quad or palette to save room and make it easier since all your colours will be in one place.

5) Powder! My face can get really shiny so I need a powder on hand to dab on my face. I love using my sigma flat top kabuki to give a good buffing of powder, and I use the Rimmel Stay Matte translucent powder.

6) India is really humid at this time so my make-up literally slides off. A primer is a bit of a must for me, even to keep my blush/bronzer on! This is optional of course.

7) BRONZER. I love my MAC MSF in Comfort because it gives a pretty glow too. There are lots of bronzers to suit everyone so bring your favourite. Just sweep it on the places where the sun hits your face naturally like cheeks, forehead, chin and nose. Or contour your cheeks instead.

8) Blush! I love a matte blush so I'm using my MAC Desert Rose again. It's a very easy pink and perfect for daytime. You could take a peach/coral blush since that is a favourite in the summer. Cream blush is also popular for summer.

9) Concealer. In case of any blemishes that may reveal themselves while abroad. I love my MAC studio finish!

10) Eyeliner. I love my gel eyeliner since it lasts longer and so won't disappear quickly. Again, it's up to you really.

11) Lips! A perfect holiday look is tanned skin, sweep of mascara and bright lips. It's such an easy look but you'll feel put together. I'm taking lipbalm, Revlon Colourburst in Peach and Rimmel Colour ShowOff in Tell No One, both coral shades. I prefer and orange lip over a red lip this time of year. You could wear red, hot pink, purple, coral or nude! Whatever colour you want!

12) Finally, a tint. It gives a gorgeous glow on the cheeks that lasts a really long time and looks great on the lips too; like a just bitten look. The revlon lip tints look really good, I want to try them. I have the benetint to show above but there are many dupes around!

Leavers Ball/Prom 2011

I had such an amazing time! I'm going to miss everyone so so SO much. Everyone looked stunning, and it was ridiculously fun dancing with everyone. I wish I'd worn a long dress but I still love the dress I wore. Tell me what you think of my dress? I also had a bit of a shoe problem as the shoes I bought were too big (even though I went a size down) since my feet kept slipping out (I have stupid heels on my feet basically). Soooooo I wore my back-up heels which I HAD offered to my friend since she wore flats (she's the one wearing the floral dress...ball dress shopping with her was definitely an experience...she doesn't "understand" dresses.) so I felt bad taking them back =(

Nonetheless it was a fab night and one I won't forget easily! The fireworks moment was when I realised how much I was going to miss everyone and I got quite emotional actually. I'm only 18 so there are much more friends to make but I'm so grateful to have had such an amazing yeargroup.

Zara Sandals

I officially love these sandals. I knew I would. I do kind of regret not getting the nude versions but these are gorgeous, and they are definitely my summer staple. The colour is a fresh, watermelon pink colour and it looks quite nice with my skin tone. If I had a spare 20 quid knocking about I would buy the nude pairs too but I love these since I hardly have any bright shoes. I think they'd look great in autumn too so I'm very excited to wear them. They feel amazing quality, £20 for genuine leather is ridiculous. If you are in need of some comfy summer sandals that give some lift then grab these; you will not regret it.

Also I've recently had a penchant for sequinned items. I don't know what it is, but I really want a sequin shirt to swing under a structured blazer, a cute sequin skirt to sit with a casual tee or a sequinned blazer to take a plain outfit of tshirt and jeans to ridiculous levels. I'm a magpie if you don't already know, and I'm always immediately attracted to sparkles of any sort. Tell me what you guys think of sequinned items? Any time I find a piece they're usually ridiculously priced. I may need to do some DIY so I will update you all on that!

p.s. I was supposed to go the Harry Potter premiere to camp in the crowds and try and grab a hug with Rupert Grint but my friend bailed, and I couldn't go alone! I'm so sad :'( I feel so torn about watching it on youtube, a part of me really doesn't want to because it's the last one while the other is aching to see what Emma wears haha! June Favourites 2011

I hardly ever do these but I felt like making one. I'm tired of trying to categorise my blog, I kept it just outfits because I called this a "fashion" blog but I have so many interests I want to make my blog a part of that. You've probs realised this as in the past month or so my posts have been less outfit orientated and instead a bit of everything; hauls, art, cooking, beauty etc. So I hope you guys don't mind that! I'm a-bit-of-everything kind of girl rather than keeping everything separate. I prefer mushing everything together haha!

Anyways on with the post.

* Neutrogena Multi-Defence Daily Mosturiser; LOVE THIS. It has SPF, it's light, it's moisturising and it's non-fussy. What's not to love? I prefer pump moisturisers to pot ones for whatever reason so hopefully I'll stick with this one for longer. I usually get bored and move on...(bad habit)

* Spirit Gold Watch; my dad got me this and I love it. It's not flashy and expensive, in fact it feels quite cheap but I love that. I can be quite clumsy so I don't have to worry too much about breaking it or losing it as it's just a summer watch. It looks amazing with bracelets and I've really enjoyed putting it on with outfits. It's already starting to get scratched though...

* Benetint; this is the freebie from Glamour. At first I didn't understand the hype but now I love it. It's such an easy product! I always find blush a bit of a hassle because you have to think about placement and how much you put on. With this you just stroke onto your cheeks and then pat it in et voila! It always applies the right amount. I'm definitely going to buy a similar one (I don't think it's worth £25).

* Amazing Cosmetics Primer; I haven't used this much but I recently found it very useful when I got sore, dry patches on my skin. I needed to cover it up so I applied this over it which provided a smooth layer for the concealer to sit one. It's also a great primer so I really recommend this product (it's a bit pricey though!)

* Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer; everyone and their mother has raved about this concealer. I've had this one for AGES, nearly a year I'm sure. It's fab, I need to get a new one. I use no. 4- Deep.

* Maybelline One By One Mascara; this is a good dupe for the Max Factor False lash effect. It lengthens, separates and adds volume. An amazing mascara :)

* Sigma Miss Taylor Kabuki; A M A Z I N G. Too soft for words and applies products like a dream! Definitely recommend!

* Nars Dolce Vita blush; I always come back to this blush. It's the perfect colour for my skin tone. I did wear Coralista a few times this month but benetint took over since it gave such a lovely sheen. Dolce Vita is a brilliant evening blush I think.

And finally I've been loving Game Of Thrones. Watched all of them now. LOVE THEM. I miss them already...(yes I did watch 10 one-hour episodes within a day or two).

I think I may crop this denim shirt, it looks much better as a light jacket. I love this dress it's so easy to wear. It's quite nicely made too and the colour is really summery. The wedges are new, I got them yesterday from New Look for £9. They are SO COMFY it's cray cray. I think there's a red pair online so I'd definitely recommend them. I really want to buy this pair of shoes for the summer, but not sure on which colour. The pink or the nude? Help me?

ALSO i've made a tutorial for the hair in this, do you guys want to see it? Let me knowww :) GOD no school is amazing...loving life at the moment. I See The Light Scene in Tangled

cutest package ever

I told you I did some painting the other day and this is what I painted. My siblings are obsessed with Tangled so it's always on in the house and so I decided to paint this scene. I personally love this film, it mixes modern disney with old school disney perfectly. I definitely recommend this film, it's perfect for sleepovers too.

The package is from Carly. I love it so much! I won her giveaway but I didn't realise it was US only. Completely my fault but she sends me goodies from Japan! So lovely and so generous, you all need to check out her blog. She posts amazing DIYs and lists some cool ones from all over the web too! She's one of my favourite blogs so go over and give her some love!
The wipes apparently leave a layer of powder, HOW COOL? She sent me an erasable highlighter (omg), cute memo cards, ice cream paperclips and the wipes! I love everything :)

001: Funny how when I have all the time in the world I don't have time to post...yet I wasted time I should've spent revising, making blogposts. What is wrong with me again?

002: London + Alton Towers were amazing! I had so much fun. Harrods was lovely, though I did get a bit sad at the poor doggies stuck behind glass. :( I got a gorgeous cream cake from there though, it was scrumptious. Next time I'll definitely bring enough money for macaroons though. I NEED to try some! Alton Towers was just as amazing as I first experienced. I absolutely love rides so I loved it! Oblivion was amazing as usual, th13teen was AWESOME and Air was amazing. I just love rides...it would be a dream come true to rent out a theme park.

003: My leavers ball was so lovely. I had so much fun, and it was so sad to think it's all ending. I'm going to miss everyone so much. It's making me very tense for the future. I'll probably feel all these feelings again at the end of Uni...strange how friends work isn't it? I've made some friends that I hope I know forever though! It would be a shame to lose touch.

004: So all in all I've had a fabulous weekend. I did some painting too which I'll show you soon along with my ball pictures. Hopefully I'll get into a routine after this, gym in the morning, shower, read/paint, lunch, go out/whatever.

Thought you'd enjoy my no make-up face pretending to be a p0ser (not really with the outfit taking atm...been out of the loop for far too long). I got this tunic yesterday in the topshop sale for £8!!!!!!! Crazy. I love it. I'm actually wearing this on tuesday when I go to Alton Towers. I'm not one for casual wear. This is comfy and I love the colour, it's like a muted in-your-face colour.

It's BOILING outside today! I'm going to shower and then maybe paint outside. Aahhh bliss :) I also made £57 on Ebay this week which I'm happy about. Now it's just sending the damn things....ugh. Also I specifically write UK ONLY and STILL people from other countries bid. F F S READ WHY DON'T YOU. >-< My patience is being tested............

My exams are over. Such a blissful feeling. I have found replacement worries to fuzzle my brain with but overall I love this. I'm not constantly berating myself for being on the internet and I can finally turn LeechBlock off! I spent today browsing the sales and found 2 dresses in Topshop for £8 (my sister also got two which I will borrow...). On that note, I've very excitedly noticed that a lot of my sisters clothes actually fit me. We've been trying on each others stuff and loving it! Especially as she's got a bit more fashion conscious! This can only be a good thing. OK I want to show you the present my friends got me. It's a harry potter necklace. With an acceptance letter on it. FREAKING AMAZING.

Batiste Big & Bouncy XXL Volume Dry Shampoo

Ever since the rise of Cheryl Cole I've fallen in love with big hair. There's just something so effortlessly sexy about it but my hair could never achieve it. This is partly down to my hatred of backcombing. It almost pains me when I do it, my hair is a scraggly mess under the smoothed down top layer, doesn't that annoy you? And I play with my hair a bit too so when I go to run my hands through my hair and I find it tangled in a mass of knotted hair I do a little inward sob. Enter Volumising Products. The main thing wrong with my hair is that it's thick. The strands themselves are really thick and I have a lot of it. This may sound like I'm lucky, and I'd get a lot of volume; but alas. I have a lot of natural volume in the middle-ends but the top is dragged down by the weight of my hair. I've tried so many products, all leaving my hair sticky, crunchy and maybe a millimetre higher. I gave up. Instead I sat staring longingly at Cheryl's hair and the infamous beauty blogger, Zoella's hair. Her hair is unbelievably gorgeous! AND Gemsmaquillage! Hers defies gravity!

And then came that blog post, by the amazing Laura (aka lollipop26). I used to worship this woman, she was the first "guru" I watched on video and I practically lived for her hauls. She's now come back to the blogging world which I was SO excited about (as was the rest of the beauty blogging community) and in her recent post she mentioned Batiste's new dry shampoo. I picked one up today and O M G. That is all.

Officially joining the big hair trend! I recommend you all try it! It was £3.99 I think. Don't quote me on that though.

Also a big HA HA at my no-blogging-when-exams crap. Blogging is just a part of my routine now! I was so terrified for todays exam (C4) but it went surprisingly OK. Not great, but not kill-yourself-now-bad.
Now I'm going to get some green tea and revise. 2 MORE TO GO. Oh lord I just want this to be over please! On top of it all I seem to have gotten a cold/sore throat! Wonderful.

The long awaited package

On 13th of May I placed an order on H&M. This was also when some discount codes were circling around where you can get £15 off. I honestly assumed that H&M had publicly released these but I guess not since each time they replied to my angry e-mails they'd ask about where I'd gotten the codes. And why the angry e-mails? Because I'd only just received their package. H&M seem to have a really stupid way of doing things, I'd ordered my shoes because they were finally in stock. A few days later I check the order status and it says my shoes will be shipped 24th June. WHAT? Why would they say something is in stock...when it isn't?! I got so frustrated and annoyed and at one point it said my shoes will get here in AUGUST. Thankfully they dispatched it 2 days ago and it's here now. Definitely won't be ordering online from them for a while though, far too risky. If they ever improve, please let me know!

Today was a lovely day. It's my dad's birthday and we got him two shirts and this beautiful mini wooden well which I haven't photographed yet. It will make a wonderful model though! I also baked a cake! I only iced half of it because we're not much of an icing crew but it still tastes lovely. I completely changed the recipe I found though, I felt some of the quantities were too much so I changed it around and it still came out good. Took longer to cook though! I'll do the recipe one day :)

Sorry my blog has dwindled down to just webcam pics :(

A few of my friends clubbed together to get me this gorgeous Cath Kidston laptop sleeve. It's beautiful and so so soft. Oh HOW I wish it was smaller to fit my laptop. They assumed mine was bigger, and it's okay I think I'm just being picky haha! Do you think they'll exchange it? I don't have the receipt :( I may go in and try. I've emailed them but so far no reply. What do you think of it?

Also today in TK Maxx I found this book on dragonology. I'm the biggest dragon freak EVER so this was a dream come true!

YAY my ball dress is here! It's VERY creased so I'm not impressed with that but I forgive you River Island because the dress is beautiful. It's lovely quality and just flows beautifully! I'm so excited to style it and wear it :D Tell me what you guys think? Also I'll take better pics after my exams :) My canon is crying tears of sadness.

Also today has been such a good day because I had my maths exam and it went so well! I was only stuck on 2 questions (which were unbearably hard) but the rest was amazing! So I'm very happy :)

Now I only have 3 more exams and then I'm DONE. I'm going to do some revision tonight, buy my dad's birthday/fathers day pressie tomorrow and more revision! Eeeek all of my exams next week are morning ones :( I prefer afternoons as you can do some cramming with friends and chill...but oh well.

UGH GUYS. The exam was awful. none of the stuff i repeatedly drilled into my head came up. Instead it was full off shit I had no idea about, stuff we'd never done, things that didn't make sense. WTF? I'm going to go on The Student Room and see what everyone else thought. If it's a united OH F*CK then hopefully the grade boundaries will be lower.

Just to make my day brighter I wore this crazy bright stripey top from New Look, Castle Necklace and black lace skirt from Matalan.

My Ball Dress

I finally chose a dress for my leavers ball. I was about to drop £75 for this beautiful one off of ebay but then I thought carefully and decided I didn't really need to spend so much for this occasion. Maybe for a more important one because I think that dress is beautiful! Tell me what you think of it? And what should I wear with it? I'm thinking a nice embellished short necklace, a pretty clutch and some heels but feel free to give suggestions! I'd love to know how you'd style this.

Sorry for the short post, I'm suuuuper stressed with revision. You may find little glimpses of me over the next 2 weeks because I have my first exam tomorrow :S I'll probs post La Semaine's because they're quick. Eeeeep wish me luck guys!
